I haven't figured out a way to get Michael's coupons without buying a newspaper. I've asked when I went in the store before but they always say I have to have the ad...apparently my Michael's isn't as nice as mln51's. I've registered for their emails but they don't include any coupons. If your Michael's accepts competitor coupons... 1) At Joann's you can fill out a form by the registers or customer service desk and they will mail and/or email you ads with coupons. 2) Hobby Lobby you can register online for their emails and they include coupons every week even if the ad in the paper did not have a coupon <--Awesome! Mostly the coupon is 40% off anything in the store, but some weeks it is specific like 25% off a Wilton product or such

in the Target thread on offline hot deals it has been discussed that a lot of items in the baby section have gone on clearance, I believe it is at 30% off at most Target stores right now.

Went there yesterday expecting to spend bunches of money on makeup and such and left with only one item for $2.99. Very disappointing. I asked about one product, after shave lotion, and I was told that it was discontinued, the lady was sure they had them but it was probably buried in boxes in the back and to just keep checking the sale because they will eventually get put out. I was annoyed that it was discontinued, but double annoyed that they had BOXES of stuff in the back. They had two small tables of clearance items in the makeup side and that was it! If they have plenty more in the back bring it out front, no need to drag out the sale...Going to check out some other VS stores tomorrow hopefully not all of them are pulling this crap.

Yes it is understandable that some stores will be closing, but the way they have gone about it is completely ridiculous. Perhaps only central Ohio is seeing the ridiculousness of their actions... Macy's purchased Lazarus and Kauffman's in this area and is causing quite a problem now.

small vent...nationwide sale?? not at one mall in Ohio. The Victoria's Secret moved from one store front in the mall to another store front on the other side of the mall. So they were not open on the 2nd or 3rd for the move, supposed to reopen tomorrow. I would think they would *plan* ahead so that they would be done with the move before the big sale that got me out of bed

Yeah I have yet to understand that...I think the one just has men's stuff in it, not really sure, but that is all I seen from walking by it so I didn't go in.

WHAT????? I am getting annoyed with Macy's with all their closings and relocations. Both of those stores are near me. The River Valley Mall is in Lancaster, Ohio - about 30 minutes southeast of Columbus on Rt. 33. I'd agree with the Westland Mall closing as that mall is dead, but River Valley Mall is usually busy as it is the only mall for people in that area unless they drive to Columbus or further.

Not all Kroger's, Columbus, Ohio here and my Kroger was only 50% off on Christmas and 30% off on select toys. A sign said 75% off Christmas cards...however that was incredibly misleading because it was off the manufacturer set price, and not the Kroger actual price. Another lady and I were not happy

75% off Christmas finally in Columbus, Ohio! I went straight there this morning, very little wrapping paper left, no bows, and hardly any lights/outdoor decor. There was a lot of indoors decor stuff, but not even that much ornaments. Not the usual selection of year's past.. Since I was there so early I did manage to snag 4 outdoor light sets, Christmas cards, 2 rolls of wrapping paper (the same style since they had hardly any), a pumpkin pie candle (for free with coupon), ziploc large bags (24 cents after coupon), a tree skirt my mom wanted, and some other odds-n-ends. Nothing too exciting, but worth the 10 minute drive.

I got mine a few days after I ordered. I gave the Who cd to my step-mom and she loved it! I saw it for $14.99 in Target. I gave the gospel cd, Jordanaires I think, to my grandma and she gushed about how she loved them and all their songs. I kept the +44 one for myself, looks like a current group, I haven't listened to it yet though. None of mine got cancelled, but then again I didn't get any Christmas ones because they weren't in stock when I ordered.

Columbus, Ohio here, I called this morning and got pretty much the same thing. Still at 50% off today, put probably going to 75% tomorrow. She was really nice because all I asked was what it was at, not when it was going 75%. So up early tomorrow....oh wait I will be anyway...I will be a walking zombie at Target tomorrow because I'm doing a youth overnighter for new year's eve

Central Ohio area is still at 50%, time to go back to bed, and get up early tomorrow & call again!

Does anyone know when Macy's is going 75% off, or is this decision by store managers? Their website says 50% and I called the store today and they said it is still 50% off... I went in yesterday and nothing has really sold and there are some ornaments I would like to have, but not for 50% off prices.

This year I volunteered to help out with a youth overnighter at church...don't think I'll be getting any sleep . Hopefully we all have fun

That is the same thing I was thinking. At first I thought maybe the store just sold them off to another company (overstock or such?), but perhaps which such a mild winter (at least in Ohio) a lot more people put lights up... I don't know but I needed more lights and I wanted a couple deer and they are just GONE!

hmmmmm....so why is my Target so anal? They said corporate passed a new policy (well about a year ago now) and that they are following it. Does anyone know if this is a correct policy? To give the current price on a return, with or without a receipt on clearance items.

Hit the beaches definately. I liked the Clearwater Beaches the best, although they are the busiest. If you want a quieter beach try the ones in the southwest part of St. Petersburg, go to the last exit off 275 South, before you hit the bridge and go west. You will hit St. Pete Beach area. I would say skip the last exit and go across the bridge, the views are breathtaking from the Sunshine Skyway bridge, then just turnaround and come back to St. Petersburg. There are tons of touristy shops all along the main drag in Clearwater that are constantly competing with each other to have lower prices. I would skip the zoo. I went when I lived down there and I literally went to find a map to figure out where the rest of the zoo was and found that I had seen it all! It is a tiny zoo - but I guess I am spoiled living near the Columbus Zoo. I would definately go to the Florida Aquarium in Tampa. It is a great place for any age and one of the best aquariums I've ever seen, http://www.flaquarium.org/ I never really seen any discounts for this unless you had a local Entertainment book, they had a B1G1 admission in there. The St. Petersburg pier is a great place for taking in sunsets or sunrises. Also there is a great park in St. Petersburg, I can't recall the name, but it is like a state park or city park. Free and usually you will see some wildlife on the walk, including possibly some gators. I don't claim to know much about sports, so not sure if baseball is in season in April-May, but Tampa Bay does have a major league baseball team, going to a game might be good for a 10-yr old boy. I lived there and didn't visit so I'm not sure about all the touristy stuff and discount websites.

My target is pretty strict. If you buy an item on clearance and return it later you can only get the price that it is at currently. So if I buy a Christmas item today for $10 regular price at 50% off and return it when it is 75% off they will give me only $2.50 and not the $5.00 I paid (and no it doesn't matter if I have the receipt or not). They apply this to all clearance items, so I watch what I buy now.

I have found that you have to wait a couple weeks after Christmas for the red & green storage tubs to go on sale. The don't go on sale immediately after Christmas b/c everyone is buying them up to store their Christmas items. Big Lots is a great place to look for storage containers.

Only 40% off at the mall Hallmark by me too...

The Lane Bryant 30% coupon deal by far. Bras for around $3-4 each, panties for about $2-3, Seven jeans for under $20, and on and on...each time I put an order in the deals got crazier! I have 5 orders in and counting :) Also the free cds from Overstock and the less than $1 dvds from deepdiscountdvd.com were nice.

I went to Macy's at lunchtime only to find that the Christmas decor and ornaments were only 50% off...they were the same before Christmas They did have an additional 50% off clearance prices in the home areas.
