If that thing is right we won't see another product for another 7.5 hours. I hope it doesn't take that long to get rid of the mp3 players... -

Can't they wait one more day for payday??? -
I'm sure thinking about doing it again...haven't completely decided yet. If I do go I will be showing up early again. Not to necessarily get in a line at the store but to avoid all the traffic issues.

Brad thanks for the ad!!! Macy's might be my first stop this year. I need a new comforter and heck I can buy a brand new one for about the same price it would cost me to dry clean my one now - how crazy is that!

Thanks for the info on the presale...i've heard about it but never really understood how it worked. Is this where they say "Preview hours" such and such the day before a sale? I'll definately ask now. Also the thanks for sharing program is great, i agree. I've used it for at least the last 2 years and have gotten nice sized gift cards after the program ends.

I love the Chipmunk's Christmas cd. Had it as a kid and still love it.
-
Thanks for the links everyone. After my vacation I won't be spending nearly as much on Christmas as I did last year.

$35 is quite high for an office exchange. one of my family exchanges limit is only $30.
-
best - kitchen aid mixer from my dad. i love that thing! worst - stupid "gag" gift exchange at my grandma's that the rest of the family finds so cute and funny. whatever if i wanted crap from the dollar store i'll buy it myself instead of getting your crap. it wouldn't be so bad if they wouldn't buy the crap!! like pantyhose in an egg kind of crap. i refuse to participate anymore, and now i'm seen as anti-Christmas...whatever!

use a lot of it to make the world's largest popcorn ball - The current world's largest popcorn ball weighed 3,415 pounds and was 8 feet in diameter and was in Lake Forest, Illinois, 2006. Hey you might get your pic in the Guiness Book of World Records

I hope so - I've got the trial right now and I have to cancel next month. -
Jeffersonville, Ohio was absolutely nuts last year!! I went along with some family and we went down early thank goodness because if we hadn't we would've been stuck on the freeway. It was backed up for miles and miles any direction. Some people were pulling off the side of the freeway parking their car on the berm or grass and jumping the fence...yeah smart...the police were promptly having all those cars towed it was quite funny to watch all the cars getting towed. Like duh you can't park on the freeway even if it is BF! We managed to get out of there with what we wanted and back into our town for shopping in the morning -- but not early enough to get in any lines or anything of course.

I go to Walmart if it's something I can pricematch that I want (my Walmart PMs). Otherwise I'll head to Kmart for the stuff. Walmart is a lot closer so luckily I just had to go there for some cds and dvds I needed last year.

I love their turkey :) Got one free a couple years from an employer, but otherwise I find them too expensive to buy myself.
-
i have no idea how some of you go home and wrap/sort/etc presents and such. I go home and CRASH!! Turn the phone off and all - dead to the world. Last year was the longest I've been out. About 10pm Thursday - 4pm Friday OMG I was exhausted.

Is your daughter by chance a college student? If so check out studentuniverse.com. That is where I found the cheapest tix to go to Europe :) (leaving tonight!). If this website works for you look at the "Go Deals" up on the right hand corner of the screen. They change daily and offer a certain dollar amount off of going to a certain destination. But I also agree it is too early to buy the tix. I would wait until Dec/Jan.

Any good sites for dvd movies?
kselzer replied to braggsalot's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
i second the vote for deepdiscount when I buy dvds or cds that is where I usually find the best price - free shipping! -
I see you're in Ohio - have you tried Meijer's? I know they have a section usually up in the middle of the registers with older/retro/whatever type of candy. Not sure if they have what you're talking about or not.

Me too! I'm going to Germany in a couple weeks so I'm hoping to find some really great ones! The last couple years I haven't been impressed with what I've found locally....maybe I'm just getting picky, lol

my birthday is jan 3rd, so it usually comes down the weekend after my birthday. I'm used to always having it up past my birthday so I just keep doing it. I also don't have much trouble with the needles or the tree dying. I chop down my own tree (that way I know it's fresh & it's sooo much fun!) and then slice off a bit more before I set it in the tree stand. Then fill it with water each morning. No problems :)
