I slept on one at a hotel and was expecting it to be great -- however I found it to be incredibly uncomfortable and nothing more than a glorified air mattress... Just my opinion, I see others really like them.

Perimeter Perusing at Target (Target Clearance Deals) - 2007

Thanks Kathy and Amanda I don't need to go to that section so I would have never even thought to look there. Of course I was there two nights ago and now I'll have to go again tonight! lol - I got paid today so it may be dangerous (considering I intentionally didn't look at the prices on some of the furniture and household stuff because I knew I didn't have the money then, so will definately look tonight) -

I guess I missed out on the gamecube games. I usually browse that way before I start perimeter perusing and they only had 3 games on the $19.99 shelving so my store must of clearanced them and sold them all... -
Perimeter Perusing at Target (Target Clearance Deals) - 2007

I got some nice wool socks for $1.24 (75% off) last night - doesn't take too much to make me happy :) I also go some cereal at 30% off and a ipod nano Mossimo cloth cover for $2.49 (75%) off. Does anyone know where the Mossimo ipod nano covers are regularly stored? Not in the ipod section...I looked around and only found the one on an endcap and I have never seen them in the ipod/electronics area, so they must be somewhere else. There was quite a bit of stuff back on the clearance endcaps, but some was only 15% - 30% off so I'll wait a bit for some of the stuff. I did see that baby food was marked 50% off - the jar kind and some of the cereals in little containers. -
I keep on hearing about this place and I finally went to their website. They only deliver to two churches in my area, ones I've never heard of on the other side of town. Does everyone attend the church they get their orders from or is it okay for non-members of that church to call and place an order? Not quite understanding how this works. Is it kind of like Market Day?

when i lived near Tampa, FL I enjoyed going to the HSN Outlet store down there. I wouldn't pay the full prices they listed on some of their items, but I really liked their outlet prices. I picked up a few pieces of jewelry there, some shoes, and other misc. items. -
Good idea, I'll definately have to go buy more (if there's any left) and try that

thanks for the coupon!! I didn't even know they sent out emails with coupons so I'm off to the website and the store! I love the Maua Lai juices too. I bought about 6, but was thinking I should go back for more :) I just drink them plain. What do you use them as mixers in?

Anthony Thomas is the local company we have in Ohio. They are the best! When kids sell them I tend to buy more of these kinds rather than the kinds I can just pick up in the store.

Name your favorite gift for 2006
kselzer replied to jarerice's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
My b-day is Jan 3rd, so not technically 2006 -- but my younger cousin bought me an ipod Nano!!! She was so excited to give it to me and was proud of the fact that she used her money to buy it. I told her it was too much but she insisted I needed one :) lol. She also gave me a cute card and wrote thanks for all you do for me inside. It was soooo sweet! And my other cousin is always telling me that this cousin doesn't appreciate everything I do for her, well this sure shut her up about that! -

WHAT?????? Were these the regular size bottles or the travel size? I guess I'll need to do another trip, they didn't have these when I was there. They are usually $7 on sale, so $3 would be awesome! I did finally find the after-shave lotion I was looking for. Another store still had it on the shelfs marked at regular price. I bought one because I needed it and realized it only rang up $4.99. So I told the cashier I was going back for more. I came back with 4 more bottles of it and the cashier was like, I didn't realize you were getting that many more. lol, oh well if they discontinue them I am stocked for a while, if they don't discontinue them then I paid about half price

Perimeter Perusing at Target (Target Clearance Deals) - 2007

I hit Target after work and left with a cart FULL! It was awesome. I got some moon shoes for $7.48, a Dancing Princess Barbie (Kelly size) for $2.48, two sets of outdoor solar lights for like $6.xx, a TMX Barbie for $4.98, chenille gloves for $2.08, and a scrapbooking embellishment $0.98. I also found the six packs of Mott's applesauce for like $1.50 regular price - that's a crazy price, lower than Walmart and the sale price of other grocery stores. I don't know why I don't look at the food area more, I usually find great prices. I wish they would build a SuperTarget near me. They're putting one in North Columbus area, but that's about 45 minutes from me, oh well. -
Best / Cheapest Place to Order Checks
kselzer replied to sbaldasare's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
Hey no problem, definately a money saver. I just put in my reorder and the total came to $11.06. That includes 175 duplicate checks, 0.50 for custom lettering, tax, and shipping! If you don't get duplicates I think it was a little cheaper and you got like 25 more checks. MandaJo - I just saw that they do photo checks now too, that is so cute! I will have to think about that for my next order I just couldn't think of a photo I have now that would be good for that and I am down to my last 10 checks so I had to get an order in. -
Best / Cheapest Place to Order Checks
kselzer replied to sbaldasare's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
I usually order from Walmart. You actually reminded me that I need to order some, thanks :) They have good designs and very cheap prices. I started ordering from there after another company (forget who) wanted to charge me more since I wasn't a *new* customer! http://www.walmartchecks.com/ -
Nope you can't. I lived on my own and ordered one, talked my step-mom into getting one. Then after school I moved in with them temporarily and as soon as I changed my address to my parents address they cancelled my step-mom's order! I called and tried to explain the situation and they basically said too bad one offer per household.

There were a few kids at the one I went to. They had a person dressed up as Clifford at the one in Grove City, Ohio, it was cute. So definately child friendly, at least here anyways :)

See the last scholastic book fair thread, no one reported a problem in attending and buying books. No one even asked me when I entered. If asked I would have just said volunteer. These sales are great I got about 15 books last time for about $40 after using the $10 off coupon last time :)

Just to edit neliak's post, it's 5 for $15, works out to $3 each.
