  1. I have a spreadsheet that shows what bill is due on what paycheck. I will bulk up on paying bills the 2 weeks before and 2 weeks after BF paycheck so I only have a few, if any, bills that I need to pay with my BF paycheck. Then when I run out of money from that paycheck that's it!

    How do you wrap?

Yep - that's what I do too :) Most things get wrapped. I will usually tie some pretty ribbon and bows on them and sometimes I even make handmade tags (last year I also made handmade cards - but that took forever! so not sure I will do that again). A few things will end up in pretty bags with tissue paper and ribbon and all.
  3. Thanks I'll have to check that out :)
  4. Okay how am I actually going to get any work done today now???? lol
  5. Usually BB first. Then I run over to Sears to get the $10 gift card since it's across the parking lot. Then to Meijer's or Target and then who knows where!
  6. And miss the turkey??? I think not! lol
  7. This will be my 9th year doing BF & 2nd year on here....can you believe I just figured out last year that I could find ads online early!?!? like duh! and i needed the news to tell me
  8. I usually layer too - shirt, hoodie, and coat if needed. I bought the hand warmers last year and then forgot them - hopefully they're still good for this year. I take all the ads with me. I've found in the past I needed and ad I didn't think I would. So I put all ads in a plastic bag and put the ones I'm definately going to on top. I also do the pricematch list for Walmart. Some years I take a purse, sometimes not. But I always have granola bars and gatorade in the car, besides my debit card that is my must have every year. NO time for breakfast of course!! lol - usually slow down enough for lunch though.
  9. Last year I went to the outlet mall, so we headed out at 10pm Thursday, and my cousin and I didn't stop until about 3 or 4pm Friday!! It was crazy -- we both were about to fall over. The others dropped off much earlier than that - like before noon. Not sure if I'll do the outlet mall again or not. If not I usually leave the house around 3-4am and back around 3-4pm --- ok putting it in writing makes me see how crazy it is!! lol!!
  10. I would say anywhere from $200-$500, depending on what kind of deals I find
  11. I went to the Prime Outlets midnight opening last year at Jeffersonville. We didn't really plan to, but we got there about a hour early so we got breakfast and then went over to the mall. We left about 2am and OMG!!!!! we didn't realize how crazy it had gotten on the highway. There were miles and miles of backup, people parking on the berms & grass on the side of the highway and hopping the fence and in the parking lot there was not a bare spot of greenspace left as people just popped over the curb and parked in it. It was the craziest BF I've had yet and I've been doing it about 10 years. It was quite funny to laugh at all the cars getting towed from being parked on the side of the freeway --- like what - they thought they would park there and NOT get towed!?!?
  12. That's awesome!! I hadn't heard that so I googled it and that's just great :)
  13. Go to your state fair - lol! I was at the Ohio State fair yesterday and I saw way too many booths selling the crocs, all different kinds I didn't even know were made.
  14. Went to Target and found 1 whole item to buy that was on clearance... There were only a couple toys and outdoor items on clearance and they were at 30% off. Geez, what's up with my Target!?!
  15. I have a Frigidaire too - and it's a stainless steel one I got on clearance :) I believe Lowe's does their big clearance event in January. The stores around me usually always have something on clearance in the appliances area. Just check the outskirts of that area. That's how I found mine.
  16. You may be able to buy some Staples coupons off eBay too. Worth a look.
  17. Marcster - thanks for the suggestions. Seems everyone is running around the same pricing. The reviews on Newegg are really good too, can't seem to really find any bad reviews on this camera. I saw a few on eBay. I'm wondering if it would be worth it to save a few bucks and buy off there, or if I would just be causing myself a headache...the only electronic i have bought off there is my 2 dvd players and they were from the company that made the dvd's outlet or something...not seeing anything like that for the cameras.
  18. Hey everyone I was hoping that someone could find even better prices on the Panasonic Lumix DMC-LZ7 camera than I have. I don't care if it's an online store or B&M (as long as they are fairly reputable). The best prices I found were $167.88 at Amazon.com and $167.99 at CircuitCity.com. I never got around to buying one last BF since my trip to Europe isn't until this September. So I figured prices may drop or better cameras would come out. So based on some research this looks like the camera to buy. Jeninpa - thanks for your recommendations on the Lumix LZ series in other threads - your pics are awesome! (this camera just seems to be the newer version of the one you have the LZ2 -- correct me if I'm wrong here). Also there are some great reviews on Amazon.com and CircuitCity.com as well as some other camera review sites. I had originally been interested in the Canon a540 - but once I had it in hand didn't care for it...so I still need to make it to the store to look at this one, but I haven't really seen any major complaints on the size & feel of this camera. So if anyone has any other ideas on where to buy please post away! TIA :)
  19. check out your local craigslist.com
  20. I was in last night and they were handing out passes for friends and family one-day passes at the registers. There is a 10% surcharge, I haven't seen a pass that didn't tack on the 10%.
  21. I don't know about any websites, but I get most of my stuff from JoAnn's. Get on their mailing list (fill out the postcard at the store, they are usually at the registers) and get there Sunday ad. Both will usually have 40% off coupons. I use this to buy most of my scrapbook items. They also will put a lot of scrapbooking items on sale for 40%-50% off, just watch the sales. Hobby Lobby is also a good place to shop, they will usually have sales & you can sign up on their website to receive their emails. They send a weekly email and sometimes it will be for 40% off any item, and it will show what is on sale in the scrapbooking area. Every once in a while I find decent stuff at Walmart. Check their craft clearance area too.
  22. I looked at the ad and don't see it advertised. Was this in your ad or did you just see it in-store? TIA
  23. Did anyone else buy one of the clear hard shell cases for the iPod nano? I bought one and it does not fit! I of course already opened it, so I hope they'll take it back...
  24. FYI - I used the salon coupon for 1 OPI nail polish and 1 OPI clear coat base & top coat. The clear coat also rang up $5! So total was $10, cashier put my stuff in the bag and handed me the receipt no questions asked :) I didn't realize the clear coat was supposed to be on sale also since normal price is around $10 - great deal! Also used my regular coupon to get an Adidas shirt for $5 since they were on sale for $14.99
  25. Thanks for the coupon! ***This does not work in all Macy's. I tried to use it tonight and when the cashier scanned the coupon it came up with something like - not valid in this division or something... The cashier was nice about it though and since she had an extra family&friends coupon she scanned that and then gave me the coupon to use through the weekend :) I am now the proud owner of a cute spring Dooney & Bourke It was only about $90 after the coupon and I used my thanks for sharing rewards card (regular $145).
