Just spent over a hour last night at the book fair. I spent about $60 after my coupon. The one I went to was not a working warehouse (Grove City, Oh) so they said they may not have as much as other locations. Oh well, I still got some cute things. I bought plenty of paperbacks for younger grades at $2/each, a cookbook for about $7, magic card trick book and cards for $4.50, a farm animal play set with book thing for $4.50, and even a paperback for myself for only $4.00. I even found an entertainment book there, not half off, but I've been having a hard time finding them locally :)

I agree with kstategrad, I saw it at Sam's Club on Monday and I am quite sure it wasn't over $100. At the store near me, they had them right up front at the beginning of the first aisle.

Okay slightly off-topic, but I just received this email and since we're talking about Hobby Lobby...a bunch of their Christmas lights have been recalled according to the email I received: Important Safety Notice December 2006 Dear Hobby Lobby Customer: On behalf of Hobby Lobby Stores, Inc., I want to assure you that product safety is our highest priority. Personally I'm going to try to PM the Cars dvd at Walmart. I figure TRU will be out by the time I get there...

The ad says all day - however in the fine print it states that there are limited quantities and no rain checks will be given.

I was just in there last night and OMG the amazing deals. I had 3 bags full of stuff for about $25. The store I went to still had plenty of items available, and there were clerks on a couple aisles putting more stuff out! So I guess it's hit or miss with the stores. Christmas crafts were 50% off which included scrapbooking kits, card kits, and the Christmas Stack! Scrapbooking paper was also all 50% off. I got a gingerbread man outside sign for $4.50. The only thing I bought not on sale was a Gingerbread man cookie cutter - but I needed it so oh well :)

sorry, did a quick search online and didn't find anything reasonable. I can't believe they are still running low in stock on these - seems to me they are doing it on purpose almost...since they have been out-of-stock or low stock for over a year now.

Also will add Nelson DeMille - he is in my top 5 favorite authors.

I agree, Lowe's is a clearance extravaganza in January. LOL - I was in there the other day and I would prefer an electric fireplace, however no money/time/help to install right now, but I was looking at them. I have an older home and it has a brick surrounding for a fireplace with a mantle (looks like someone may have had a gas or electric hook-up there previously). Well I was in Lowe's and got some fake crackling logs It is actually kind of cute it has a orange light under the fake logs with a bar that twirls with like thick tinsel type of stuff on it - which creates the crackling sound. I had a merchandise credit to spend, so I asked an employee where to find the item, of which he says no way they are out, he finds that the display is the only one left and offers it to me for $25 ($45 regular price) I say fine, use my merch. credit and only pay $11

Not quite sure of the name, but I have the "generic" dance game as well as the DDR Mario Mix. The generic one has actual songs (some good, some not really) to which you can solo or duo dance. I found the DDR Mario Mix at Meijer's about mid-summer, but I seen that they had some last week also. If you get the generic one and the Mario one then you have 2 mats :)

My local Meijer's had quite a bit of furniture on sale. Also I always perimeter peruse at Target, but I found quite a bit of clearance on the end caps or at the end of the aisles.

Under Armour does have outlet stores, I would check to see if you have one near you. I know there is one in the Jeffersonville, Ohio outlet mall.

I have a LB credit card so I get tons of coupons in the mail (which is why I have the card ) Usually they send out $25 off $75 or $50 off $150. Every once in a while they send $15 off $15 - I don't know if it's just coincidence, but it seems I get those when I haven't been in shopping for a while. I haven't shopped for a while because the coupons they are now sending out are not good on clearance or permantely reduced items That was how I always got amazing deals! I've also gotten a few $10 off $50 for the Lane Bryant Outlet store. If you're not getting them in the mail sign up online -or- you can always buy the coupons off ebay.

perhaps this is only available in certain stores/regions. When I look at meijer.com for the weekly ads at the store near me I am not seeing where the i-pup is on sale...

I do this for my grandmother also. Just lots of food/snack items that she would not necessarily buy for herself, but she really enjoys. I get them from a local bakery that stocks Amish food items. I also get her a few B&B Works soaps.

Hey everyone I just got an email from Torrid.com. 50% off clearance from now until 12/10/06 online. And the sale is also in stores from 12/07/06 - 12/10/06. The website is showing 67 web pages of clearance items :)

no fair i was at walmart last night and the clearance aisle is GONE!! I couldn't believe it and looked around to see if they moved it, but no such luck.

Hey neighbor thanks for the info. I want to go to the Grove City one since that is closer, but I may register for the Lewis Center one to get the coupon. :)
