    Target BF ad

imo this is the best Target ad I've seen in years from them. I've been quite disappointed the last few years, but this year---woohoo!! I want the camera, best deal I've seen so far for that size and price, some dvds, and other misc. I just wish they had the idogs for $10 like Walmart....
  2. When I first seen this thread like a week ago I thought what are these crazy people shopping before BF for!?!? ..........well I've been shopping now too!!! Since I've been on here recently and checking the forums regularly I have found some amazing deals that BF can't really touch!! $40 off $80 of shoes on Amazon, $10 off $10 purchase at Avon, free shipping and amazing clearance at an online christian book store, $29 for a refurbished ipod shuffle, and so on!! (by the way most of these deals are under the online hot deals if you're wondering)
  3. Well it seems only guys think I'm nuts - my dad and my boss...lol! They just don't understand a woman's need to shop and get awesome deals!!!
  4. Marcster - thanks for the link & head's up - that is awesome to find them all in one place. I've only been a member for a month and I actually thought I had found most of the interesting things on this site!
  5. i learned something new today
  6. Okay sorry I see you said in stores. I've been watching for a good price and haven't seen any in store yet. I'm going to hold out a bit longer and see if they go down. I haven't even seen it in any BF ads yet...
  7. I was hoping for a $30 price like season one had, but no such luck yet. Amazon.com has the set for $36.76 & ships free at http://www.amazon.com/Lost-Complete-Second-Season/dp/B000FIMG68/sr=8-1/qid=1163514062/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1/002-3641227-0900052?ie=UTF8&s=dvd
  8. okay probably not helpful - but I was suprised to get one in my license plate renewal letter (I already used it, saved $6 on stuff to put up an outside electrical outlet for all my Christmas lights ). They seem to pop up in weird places. They used to be in the USPS moving packets, but now I think they give them to you after you submit your change of address with the confirmation letter. Perhaps try ebay, there are usually ones posted there, just watch for the caveats.
  9. Target's return policy is really bad. I love the store, but I won't buy anything unless I know that I will not return it. Last BF I bought a dvd and when I played it at home it kept skipping in the same place. I tried to exchange it in less than a week with a receipt and they refused to return it because they did not have another copy to give me and the dvd was open. I don't see how that was my problem! I even offered to take a Target gift card to use when they got the dvd in stock, no luck. So I ended up having to wait for them to call other Targets to find one that had that dvd in stock and drive to another Target about 20 miles away. Was not happy that day Just the other day I had to exchange a furnace filter because I accidently picked up the wrong size. I waited in line just for the lady to tell me that I needed to go get the one I needed. I then had to wait in line again after I retrieved the correct size furnace filter...ugh!
  10. Circuit City has been the only place where employees went above and beyond in my experience. They passed out coffee, hot chocolate, and donuts to the people in line. They then went down the line and passed out tickets for the items you wanted and let you know where items were in the store that did not have tickets (like certain dvds and the cheap dvd players). I bought a 30-some inch tv and I bought the tv, looked around a little, and had my tv loaded in my truck in about 45 minutes. The CC I went to was very efficient on BF.
  11. Bump & Ditto!!
  12. Have you tried to get reception in the building. The only reason I ask is because my dad said there was no way I was going to get reception in a downtown high rise building with all the metal, glass, and network stuff there....but guess what I did - live stern every morning and then some awesome music afterwards. I'm not sure what radio the co-worker is using, at first I would have said the sportster replay, but I went to the website and it only records 44 min I believe there was another previous version to the stilleto that could only record and then playback, no live feed. I think it came out about a year to year and a half ago and it was similar to a mp3 player type of set-up. Of course it is "out-dated" now so maybe check ebay or such to find it, I could not find it on sirius.com.
  13. I think what you're asking is whether you can use a satellite radio without hardwiring it to the vehicle? If so the answer is yes for sirius (don't know about xm - don't have that). I have a sirius sportster and I have it mounted on a suction cup thing from my front windshield (they also have ones to mount on a console or the like). I then have it plugged into my cigarette lighter and have the antenna wire going under my seat and then through my back sliding glass window of my truck. There is also a short cord coming out of the sirius that is maybe 6 inches long that is for the fm transmitter. Basically you program the sirius to a certain radio station, say 89.7 and then you put your radio on that station and you can hear the satelitte radio through your stereo with out any hardwiring to the vehicle I hope that didn't sound to drawn out of complicated, it is quite simple. There are also other types besides the sportster that can be hooked up this way in your vehicle - the sportster is just what I have.
  14. I was a member of this about a year ago and you got free coupons for free breadsticks and/or cinnasticks every month regardless of whether you actually ordered a pizza every month. If you made two $10+ orders a month then you would get a coupon for a free pizza. I would check the website before you sign up, maybe different locations offer different deals. Basically it was a good deal when I had it, $15 registration and you got a free pizza for registering. They just didn't have a pizza hut close to where I was living for quite a while, now they do, but I'm hooked on a local shop now :) - and they always have coupons out.
  15. The earliest I have gotten in line is 3am at CC 2 years ago for a 5am opening and last year 3:30am at BB for a 5am opening. I got my tv at CC no prob, I was probably 20th-30th in line and BB I was probably about 50th in line, but I just needed a computer game, a couple tv season dvd sets, and a handheld dirtdevil vacuum - and I got all of those no problem too.
  16. I still haven't heard when employee day is...but I did receive a postcard in the mail that seems like just as good of a deal for buying a coach purse for myself. The postcard says "Get Ready Sale" November 16-20, Spend $50 get $10 in Macy's Money, Spend $100 get $20, and Spend $150 get $40. It then says "the choice is yours spend your Macy's money right away, or spend it any other day through Sunday, November 26 at Macy's when you use your Macy's credit card. It has some fine print....have to use your Macy's credit card, you can combine receipts, has a few limitations on what items Macy's Money can be earned and spent on, and no change will be given. So I'm looking at buying a Coach purse for around $150, I'll get $40 Macy's Money, and I'll get the 10% back on the Star Rewards program via a gift card in early 2007. So approximately $55 off/back from buying the purse
  17. anybody heard anything yet?
  18. Not really a theme - maybe a Christmas theme? I use white lights, then decorate with red, green, and silver bulbs. Then I add in my assortment of Christmas themed ornaments. I Love Christmas
  19. Looks like BB so far.
  20. The only time I've ever seen Macy's give a % off the regular priced Coach handbags is if you have a friends & family discount card. I haven't seen them yet this year, does anyone know when they will start handing them out?
  21. It the new Monopoly: Here and now. It's the basic monopoloy but it is supposed to be updated to the "here and now." I haven't opened it yet... -Also I seen quite a few xbox and a few playstation games on clearance for around 5 and 10 dollars last night at Target.
  22. I usually pack my own stuff for breakfast. If I'm still too busy shopping to slow down later in the morning/afternoon I'll grab something from the store I'm at like candy bars, chips, drink, and what not. No time to stop for eating!! One year I went with my cousin and her grandma and I was absolutely dying because they insisted on sit-down breakfast at Bob Evans and then sit-down lunch!!! UGGGGHHHH!!!
  23. Me too! I bought one yesterday with my toy catalog coupon, then went and bought another one today with a Target.com printout coupon! Thanks for the info everyone :)
