  1. I doubt you'll find anything right now. I gave in and just bought it at WM. Have you checked buy.com? If you haven't used your GCO yet, you may get $10 off.
  2. awesome-- i just bought the carts 2 weeks ago, and came home to find that I couldn't buy this for under $70. It'll make a great b-day or Christmas gift.
  3. everybody ready? I'm going to start posting.. I just have a few minutes, but I'll get the ball rolling.
  4. I'm not sure about the things you are looking for, but I have found that the best place to find reputable sellers is on message boards and yahoo groups. A friend of mine belongs to a bow making yahoo group and found a wonderful company that takes phone orders only, and has no catalog that sells ribbon. A 50 yard roll is 1.26, where it retails for .75 cents a yard in stores. I scrapbook, and I frequently check scrapbook websites for suggestions.
  5. Do they charge you when you order or when they ship?
  6. I'm guessing there will be something big within the next couple of weeks. And, this year, the sale was in December, but in 2006 it was October.
  7. Deals are always slow right now. There are no clothing deals because they are just putting out summer stuff. Most people have already blown their tax return money, and are not in the market for big ticket items. Also, there are not as many searchers away from Christmas shopping season to look for the deals. I'm sure there are probably just as many online deals out there-- just harder to find.
  8. I got mine yesterday-- maybe it will show up soon!
  9. is $138 a good price for it? It seems like it was only about $50 off. I love my Kodak because it's rechargable, and the batteries last forever. I just wish it had better zoom for sporting events.
  10. I wouldn't trade my Kodak for anything.. I must have gotten one of the better models. I know several people that have had trouble with theirs, but mine is awesome. It's a Z760. I would like something with better zoom also. Our Walmart is running some pretty good clearance deals right now. They have a Fuji 8 mp w/ 10x zoom on clearance for $138. I have debated it, just for the zoom. I am not sure how good or user friendly they are.
  11. You may check Ebay under the 'premade scrapbook'. I have sold several grandparents type books. Some sellers will do custom books for very little. Or, you could try to make her one- that would probably be very meaningful.
  12. Does it have to be new, or can it be handcrafted?
  13. Thanks for the info! There is one within an hour of me. Of course, it's not at my favorite mall, but that may make for a good trip on my day off. Plus, it's supposed to be gorgeous here tomorrow.
  14. I would love to hear more about this 'girl that sells carts'. I am dying for Paper Doll Dress Up, but can't justify $90 for it.
  15. Bump! Does anyone know of any current codes?
  16. Big Lots had bags of egg-fillers. I think there were 50 small toys in each, and they were $2 each. Also, if you are looking to order online, try www.smalltoys.com. It's like Oriental, but more reasonable shipping, and you can order smaller quantities.
  17. www.cricut.com was running a promo w/ Walmart carts. You can buy any 2 at WM, send in your receipts and a printable form found on www.cricut.com, and they would send you a cartridge of your choice for S/H. I am not sure if it's still valid, it may have been 2/1-2/29. Also, Michael's has been running them for $45 on sale some weeks, and Hobby Lobby just started running them 2/99 some weeks. If you go to www.creatingkeepsakes/mb, sometimes posters report sales at online stores. I have gotten a couple for $29 in the past. If you find a deal on the Paper Doll Dress Up cart during your search, please let me know!
  18. I guess they got our # from DH signing up for contests on their website. I called back tonight, and told the guy the story w/o giving him our name. He told me that he remembered the conversation well and he asked DH if he wanted to pay over the phone and DH told him now way, etc. Then I told him that was funny because the last time I called Chris told us that and this guy's name was john. He then got mad and hung up on me. I am going to send the letter, and I am hoping this goes much further and runs them into the ground. From the sound of these guys, it's all commission based, and the call from their private cell phones sometimes.
  19. Last night, DH received a magazine. They were supposed to cancel this. They now refuse, saying we ordered it, which we did not. How can they charge us for something we didn't order? If we do not pay it in 2 weeks, they are threatening to send it to collections. What do I need to do/say?
  20. Not a very interesting, rushed trip tonight. I went in after a comforter for DD and some form of organization items. I did find some really neat wire cubes on sale. They are 6 cube racks, and they were on sale for $12. There were about 10 GB things left, and underneath was a packet of valentines. When I got to the counter, I realized I got one white and one chrome set of cubes, so I send DH back after the other one. I didn't see how she rang up my valentine's. She charged me 1.00, and they were 4.99. I guess she just made up her price and didn't ask.
  21. We just got back. We have been wanting bunk beds for the kids for months, and finally decided to get their rooms done this weekend. We got the beds, a mattress, and the board, and drove the hour back home only to find that the top headboard was broken in half. Of course, they will exchange it, and said we could only bring the one piece back, but still... Now we have 2 kids in the bottom half, both upset because they have to sleep together, and have to waste the $ we saved with the coupon on gas back to exchange. I also got some scrapbook stuff, some boys underwear, and a couple of storage containers.
  22. Thank you!!! I look at their site daily, and the outlet was empty yesterday.
  23. Shipping was going to be 9.00 for me, so I have to pass. These are so cute, though!
  24. Hers has only been washed a couple of times. It still looks good, and you can't tell that hundreds of pounds of glitter are missing. It is bright pink with a sheep that says "I'm baaaaaaad". SIL said she paid $16 for it (she sometimes exaggerates- so i'm not sure)
  25. I haven't seen these T's, but SIL got DD some LPS shirts at Gordman's for Christmas. They are cute, she's not really into them, but so glittery. I've washed and washed, and our whole house is full of gold glitter. Like someone told me the other days, glitter is the herpes of the crafting world.
