trinkets and school supplies
amyers12345 replied to chefpatty's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
That depends on what you're looking for. Keep it general, if you're looking for pencils, search for pencils. Typing "lot' after the key word is good, too, such as "eraser lot". HTH -
While taking my usual shortcut behind Target last night in the pouring rain, I turned the corner and about ran smack into a bunch of storage trailers. I only see these around BF, is it possible that it's full of BF stuff?

www.smalltoys.com It's a pretty good site with that kind of stuff. I have also bought stuff from ebay. A lot of times, sellers will mix and match lots to personalize it for you, and it figures to be less than oriental trading. -

My 9 year old is begging for an ipod touch, do you think this will pacify him? -
With Gottadeal, who needs a 2nd job for Christmas? Seriously, i've cut my spending by 90% and am giving about 3 times as much stuff. I work full time as an accountant, and I fill in on Friday nights at the local tea room (waiting tables). I also teach couponing and Christmas shopping classes, and those have skyrocketed since the economy has taken such a terrible turn. I am trying to show as many people as possible how to make ends meet. The extra $$ isn't for Christmas, but to put in savings in case things get worse.

Is it that little miniature thing that looks like a dvd player? We saw those over the weekend. The price is good, ours were $299.99, and were available in white or black. But, i'm holding out for a full sized one on BF for the same price.

What?!?!?! How on earth can I be expected to figure out what discontinued items and nearly expired groceries to buy? --lying in the floor, shaking with withdrawals

I honestly think I'd feel safer taking my kids into a bar than out on BF. I have been run into, witnessed fights, had my ankles run over, got separated from my shopping buddies, etc. There is no way I would risk injuring my children over a $5 coffee pot or a $10 cabbage patch.

Perimeter Perusing at Target (Target Clearance Deals) - 2008
amyers12345 replied to Gator Pam's topic in Offline Hot Deals
Patty, the DCPI should show on your receipt, and also across of the clearance tag. The format will be XXX-XX-XXXX. I had 6 minutes until closing tonight, so I snagged a twin comforter set with towels for 17.48, a King comforter set for us for 29.99 (was 119.99), some twin sheet sets for 3.24. I also picked up a queen set with a sticker that still showed 30% off, and rang up at 30%. The cashier told me that the aisle was split into 30% and 75% sections (which it was), but everything was marked 75%. -
I'm assuming you mean Adidas sandals. I got my favorite pair at www.adidas.com, and we have an adidas outlet where you can get them very inexpensively. But, I've been looking for a specific pair, and most stores here have already clearanced out the sandals and replaced them with winter shoes.

I'm not sure how these apply, but, I am currently lecturing at several universites, colleges, and tech schools on budgeting, online and Christmas shopping, and coupon shopping. 1. This morning, I was featured on www.alice955.com. 2. I have a tech. school class tomorrow night, where I will be speaking about online shopping. My classroom is a computer lab, and I will be demonstrating how to efficiently use the site. 3. I have a public event scheduled for Thursday on coupon shopping, touching on BF. So far, I have nearly 150 registrants, and have scheduled a Christmas shopping class for the following week. There will be several media outlets involved in #3, and possibly #2. * Also, what is wrong with the post times? Brad posted at 1:50, steph at 2:26, and the final post from theboyzmom is at 12:22. -
Marshall's had them, too? We don't have a Dick's.

We have this TV and LOVE IT! Ours is the Plasma. The picture is much clearer than any of the others in the $600-$1,000 price range. I picked it up at Walmart B&M for $547, I think.

Share Your Best BF Tip & Win a T-Shirt & Backpack - CONTEST OVER!
amyers12345 replied to Brad's topic in 2008
I try to go early enough that I can pick up all pricematch items before the official start time at Walmart. That way, I know I already have them, don't have to fight the crowds to get them, and no one bothers to try to take them, because they wonder why i'm buying something that isn't on sale. I also try to barter services with others standing at pallets (at WM). I pick them up a cabbage patch if they will grab me some hot wheels, etc. Works great! -
How to make the Holidays special for my Employees???
amyers12345 replied to jarerice's topic in 2008
If I remember correctly, last year, you only had a $50 budget, right? Didn't it average $1 per person? That will make a big difference on ideas. -

amyers12345 replied to jarerice's topic in 2008
If they are homeless, I don't think they would mind another dinner. If you really don't want to feed them, maybe gloves and stocking caps. Something they can use. I wouldn't buy anything that wasn't a necessity. Necessities are probably luxuries to them. -

Maybe Motherhood and Target? Old Navy's maternity line is now strictly online, so you should be able to find everything on their website. -
