10pm was too late for some, yet not for others. I know, I've been reading and thankful I wasn't trying for those big items, lol. But I think the one voucher per person rule would really stink no matter what.. IF I would have gotten the laptop I did want, I would have used it for me.. I don't see how people can say they know all of those first 20 people in line were eBayers.. big deal if they were.. you (general you) should have been there earlier. Next year.

You cut in line at the store I went too and a lady came out and YELLED at you (a customer). I didn't cut, I knew where the end of the line was. Sorry, but I have no pity at all for those of you that showed up to these popular stores 2-3 hours or less until they opened. Now those that went at midnight or before and made out with nothing, that sucks. And those that did not cut, sorry to you as well.

Wow, that is great!! But really, some people could have been there for the items for themselves. I don't think limiting someone to one of the vouchers total is very fair at all. I can understand one laptop voucher per person/household, but not one total voucher for anything per person/household. Remember this for next year, as others have said a LOT in the past few weeks and quite a few others learned this year - if you want a big item like the laptop, you gotta be at most stores by 10pm it seems. Ack!

That is terrible. I cannot believe that crap about the $99 installation of that stuff (which isn't worth even close to that much, including labor to install it IMO). I'd write a letter and call corp again, but then again, I am not one to just be okay after a situ like that!

If I had been there five hours already (in line), I would have just stayed another hour or two.. she already missed the other deals at most other stores, so why not just sit there in line and not go home, lol. That does stink though. What a bad BF!

Seagate HD's themselves are crappy, so no way would I buy nor trust their rebates!

A lot of times they don't have the time of the hassles that GC's are, so they just do what is easiest.

Office Depot for pulling the cease and desist order. Target in a sense for no doorbusters this year. Best Buy and Circuit City for limited quantities of laptops, grates on my nerves a lot.

We didn't even get the donuts we were promised at the store I went too. Free laptops? Oh, I can just imagine the injuries that would come from that - lol.

I agree with mugs, if you didn't have to do anything "different" to get around their system or something (and I know you didn't), then I'd fight it. That is BS!

Two women and I talked a bit this morning, it was nice. We were joking around about how insane we were for socks (that were half off).

Thanks to the various people that let me go ahead of them, for no reason (I didn't even push my way through, they just let me go ahead of their carts!).

Target didn't have doorbusters really. I'd still say them and Walmart are two of the best BF stores.. Best Buy and Circuit City were good as well, but the limited quantities of computers always sucks!!
