Bust. IMO, the Hallmark candy tin deal (see the Online Hot Deals forum, though this is now dead it seems) was a fluke, not necessarily meant for TODAY. That's the only great deal I got in on.

Here you go - rebate link/form!

I'm not sure where we are doing for Christmas Day dinner. But more than likely we will have turkey and all of the fixings.

Rates on postage stamps are going up to .39 cents, from .37 cents, so two pennies. Not a lot but it will hit a lot of people and businesses where it hurts. Even with postage going up, I think if the terms still remain the same on this deal next year, I'll do it.

No idea yet. More than likely we'll stay home and our older two will stay up with us to see the ball drop on TV. I'd love to take DH out on a date and have Gma watch the kids, but I have no idea if that will happen. :)

I totally agree!! I have a Dell Inspiron 8000 (6.5 years old approx). We bought it refurb'd from Dell's site about five years ago. Their customer service has rocked the few times we had to call them (and it was minor stuff, nothing really wrong w/ the laptop itself but questions we had about it). Inadvertantly a few times my twin boys (then 1.5 years old) got too it as well. They ripped the CD drive out of it as well as the DVD drive. DH spent about 10 minutes fixing it and all was well again. So I highly recommend Dell laptops, they are the only laptops we will buy/use.

If there's a BIG electronic item like this year, then I'll be in line at 5pm. If it's just a big item, but not a laptop or anything - 1amish. :)

Ouch, I am sorry! I broke my arm five days before Christmas a few years ago, it stunk! BTW, what version of the CoD2 game did you buy (PC? or..?). If it was PC, Best Buy *had* it advertised as $24.99 or something like that on BF. Not sure which Target had advertised.

I am so glad they did it for you! FWIW, quite a few stores do call the other stores to verify the ad is correct. But the way the initial WM replied to this was unacceptable and I am glad you stood your ground.

It's still there. See this thread on the Holidays & Holiday Shopping which was the BF board. ETA: Nevermind, sorry, see marcster's post.

Nope! I usually feel that "let down" feeling after Christmas though. But right now I am still running on a high from the various regular hot deals I've come across.

It sounds like everyday at Costco!

Millions per day doesn't surprise me. My local news said something around 20-30 billion per year is lost due to shoplifters. Ouch.

Wow! Um, I think she could get a nice talking too had any supervisors found out. Good for you but I am pretty sure she was not supposed to do that, lol. Good for you for being honest!!

Does it not give you an estimate or tell you how long ground ship takes?
-
I'm about 1/4 of the way done. Not much more to buy to fulfill that final 3/4 though. :)
-
Well gee, maybe if they had more of the items that were GOOD deals, some of us would have attempted to get them. Not saying me specifically, but others. I noticed various members on this board but also people at the store I shopped at saying they would have tried for X item if they hadn't had to have been at the store 12 hours prior to opening to get X item (talk about a run on sentence, lol).

I'm pretty sure this is an online deal, yes. I haven't rec'd the email (haven't checked my email yet this AM though), but I have seen this sale happen in previous months, detailed on other sites. :)

Note: This is 8am - 1pm PST. So the above mentioned times are EST. Thanks OP!

I'm not quite understanding your question? The laptop is $399 after $100 mail in rebate, or $379 after rebate and the $20 off Paypal coupon (code: 1P002ZF2T7QPD0). Since the $100 mail in rebate is not yet applied, it's $479 after Paypal coupon, so well over any $200 restriction there may or may not be? What did you mean?

We'll do home baked items. I'm just unsure of how to gift some of them and not others. We're afraid the ones we don't gift will find out and get upset.. I'd rather just gift the people we talk to though..

I see it both ways, I really do. This reminded me, there were these cute summer dresses at Target. I wanted the current size for my daughter, then next years size (3T). A lady came up while I was standing there and grabbed all of the dresses in one arm full. I asked jokingly (yet pissed off inside) why she needed so many and she said to make money. Sigh. I asked if I could have one 3T dress, she looked over at my cart (which had my daughter sitting there in it, holding the 18m dress) and she goes, "Well, you got one". I am usually the type to not back down, but with my kids there, I just glared at her and walked away. That evening, a lady in Portland, Oregon listed over 20 dresses on eBay. They were sold at Target for .79 cents each (major 4th of July clearance) and she had them at $5 each.. and yes, they all sold.
