I am so sorry! I know how you feel. I bought DH a NICE PDA this summer and it broke last month (he says from the heat of charging it, but I think he ran over it with his chair.. I dunno). Either way, big bucks down the drain. I tried seeing the warranty from Circuit City would cover it but they said no. I wouldn't lie to get it fixed (I believe in karma though). But it is cheaper to pay $130 to fix it then buy a new one as well.

There was a coupon for a free body care or breathe product ($12.50 item) with $20 purchase, but it expired on the 20th of November. This has been going on for YEARS. Thankfully we are usually home during the day when UPS or Fed Ex go by (DHL never comes by, odd). My USPS guy won't leave items on my doorstep if we don't answer (fine with me!). But I've been thinking about asking UPS anyway to req sig for all packages delivered to our house.. just in case we are not home.

Complaining to someone may not be worth your time. Check the sites and check their terms/conditions. Many say they have the right to cancel a purchase, stop you from purchasing, etc etc for any reason at anytime. This is why I never depend on online shopping for gifts. I always have a backup plan at a B&M store if at all possible!

I understand, I do. I guess I am used to deals like these being cancelled because I've been doing them for 7-8 years or so. But that's why they have the terms on their site, to cover their behinds. If merchants honored every mistake, some would be out of business by now probably. And since you didn't lose anything (yes, we lost a good deal, but we didn't lose money), then it's not a huge deal to them I don't believe. Yes, a sorry would have been nice at least.

It's hard for me to want to shop as well. I hate spending money, it goes against my beliefs (LOL!). Good luck. We too have to shop for family that doesn't live near us. We just hop on over to Target or the like and browse around.

Not possible. Read the terms on their site. They state in so many words that they have the right to cancel orders for any reason at all. You agree to this term when you submit your order.

Original thread Yes, most everyones orders were cancelled. When doing such great deals, you take that risk. This happens many times, but occasionally you get that awesome deal that goes through. Don't fret.

They wouldn't allow my order to go through, so no items and no charges.

Title needs updated to reflect $100+ purchase is needed.

I'd write back and ask why they didn't email you to tell you this was a mistake and that either you could be billed via your CC you provided OR they'd just not send the merchandise. That is BS! I used a gift card with a CC logo that only had $1 on it anyway. They haven't attempted to charge it.

I haven't rec'd my bears, but I did receive an INVOICE today. It was NOT a bill, just an invoice detailing the costs of the bears and when I placed my order. No where did it say I owed them or anything. If they for some reason sent you a bill, just send the bears back with postage due (just mark "return to sender") on the box. I agree with alaurino1 as well.

Is it in the TRU ad? If so, just take the ad into Walmart and ask for a PM. :)
