Good point, probably 5am or later.. argh.
-
Yes, they do. They just need valid photo ID that matches the name/address on the checks. :)
-
Um, whatever time zone Hawaii is in (forget the name, lol), it's either 1 or 2 hours until midnight there (they are 1-2 hours behind PST). But I am thinking they are just taking their sweet time and laughing at us refreshing. LOL!

Apple is located in CA (their support/contact us is anyway). So four min. in and nadda.. argh. I wanna see!!
-
I agree with a previous poster, I've read countless times that Nano's are NOT worth it - even discounted. Why pay even $100 for something that will either die quickly or will be dead when you get it?! 12:03 AM PST and nadda.. hmm.
-
I just said an option I had seen posted in the Best Buy laptop thread.
-
Bestbuy - Where are you going first? It's almost 3am there, right?!
-
I've been up since Thanksgiving Day morning (still today, but yesterday for some of you).
-
Wow, that's shocking for some reason.. but hey, it's a good deal on the laptop, so I don't blame 'em.

I am almost 100% sure that you must use a card with a Visa or Mastercard logo (this is to confirm you DO in fact have the money, so they don't hold items for people who can't really afford something). So as long as it has a logo, you should be good to go either way (getting it shipped to you, or picking it up in store). If you pick it up in store, they don't run the charges through until you PICK it up though. :)

Click this link and then click "Protect Your Investment", select your state, and then "I Accept" button. When you get to the checkout page, just remove the protection plan and voila - purchase the camera. EDITED: For me it says it's sold out, yet it almost let me complete the order anyway.. try it!

Depends on the store it was originally purchased from. Some have 2 weeks PM policies, others have 30 days, and some don't PM prior purchases, etc. etc. etc.
-
Way too small of a quantity. I understand in a sense why they have limited numbers, but c'mon, a bit more would be nice. Some of us don't bother going for such deals as getting them is HARD. Argh!
-
HUGE ditto! I have gotten to know some of you the past few weeks and hope to get to know more of you.

Last year, I found the DVD set I wanted on their site at midnight (my time, PST). It was regular price, but once I added it to my cart, it was BF price! Just a tip to try that may work.

So? TELL US! What did you get from your Black Friday shopping fun (online or offline!)?? Where'd ya shop? Best Buy, Walmart, Target, Office Max, Staples, CompUSA... we want the details!!
-
missyjane - I was thinking the same thing. Someone needs his exact location and then the ads we have here and see how different they are. I wonder if some of the retailers were blowing smoke up his behind when they said they were false.
-
Not happenin'. 7:15 pm here.. going to a store around 3am (not for a doorbuster obviously).
-
I'd go for the BB or Walmart notebooks as well - it depends on the location of the stores, but more than likely you'll want to be there by midnight at least.

I don't think he claimed GD only had one ad, because he took the Target, Game Stop and Walmart ads, printed them and then took them into the stores. Most people need to realize that any retailer is going to act surprised and ashamed at the ads coming out early. Most don't want to say, "Yeah, someone leaked it, have fun!" LOL. But he took the lying part of this and how innacurate this is WAY too far. If he had *researched* he would have seen there are different ads for some stores for various parts of the country, so yes some will be different. He himself said GD admitted they were rumors and not a for sure thing, then he says GD is lying? Ugh...

Good luck! toolmaan - Not sure of your location, but 3am is pretty late. I hope you are not wanting any doorbusters!! IF I were going, I'd probably get there around 1-2am at the latest!
