Parents do that sudden 180 quite a bit, just ignore him and move on. My first BF was around 16 or 17 as well. They get better as you get older, heh.

Wow. And here I thought running into the store for SOCKS (that were half off) was silly.
-
Went to one store, Fred Meyer (Kroger). Got socks for my kids, tights for my daughter, socks for DH and I, slippers for myself, lights for the outside of our house (holiday icicle ones) and a pair of mittens for me. Total of $45 (everything was half off pretty much).

Actual injuries, not aches and pains (my legs hurt though, lol). Any injuries? Just curious.. I thought it wouldn't happen at the one store I went too (Fred Meyer aka Kroger). But sure enough, I heard a woman yell out and then a BIG bang. I look over and there's a woman on the floor in the shoe dept. I am not sure what happened but yes, they called an ambulance.

A few things I experienced in my one tiny little trip today. ~ Don't blow your cigarette smoke in my face. If I wanted that, I'd ask for a cigarette myself. When there are 5-6 people behind you COUGHING, get the hint. (BTW, a lot of people in my family smoke, but most of them are considerate when in public) ~ When people are standing in the rain and you are under cover, fine. But when you have FIVE feet of room in front of you.. could you give up your "personal space" and be a bit considerate, please? Just because we're wearing coats doesn't mean we want to put them to use in the rain. ~ The words "excuse me" go a LONG way. ~ Thank you for chewing gum... I'd rather hear you chomping away on it then smell your nasty morning breath. It's appreciated, even if you do sound like a cow. (This is meant to be funny but also truthful.. and yes, I enjoyed myself..)

Wow, sounds like you had an awesome BF experience. Way to go! BTW, where are you? What Walmart did you shop at? Just curious!

Error is no longer coming up for me.. I almost just completed a purchase and no error like I was getting a few min ago.
-
Whoa, I feel for BFJedi - that's insane. I'd be writing one helluva letter to corp asking wth kind of shopping they wanted you to do? I imagine they lost some money due to these idiotic things going on.

For a couple of reasons, I vote for Dell over Office Depot..

1 hour and 19 minutes.. So wait, are you going?!
-
I've learned something over the past few hours - location means nothing. If it goes by the name of Best Buy, it will be jam packed by 1am at least!
-
Woo hoo! Was it live or did they say when it'd air? That's great!!
-
Estimated delivery cost is $50 (without inputting zip code), not bad for such a large/heavy item IMO. :) Though when I attempt to checkout (before putting in CC info, just trying to get an accurate ship estimate), it says.. Ack!

1:45 here.. not leaving for Fred Meyer until 3:30am probably.
-
I'm tellin' you, just give me the BBB and I will go use them.. Wow, I am sorry though, that stinks! I was just debating on driving past the Best Buy, now I can picture it - 200+ people by now I am betting.

I found this just now - it's worth the read, esp when he talks about the salt and pepper and plates. http://www.sptimes.com/2005/11/25/Brandontimes/Sleeping_in_beats_the.shtml

Depending on the location of the store, I'd say around 3-4 hours prior to opening.. maybe more, maybe less.. just figure, if you get there and no one is there, just sit in your car for a bit. :)

This site is here all year round, don't forget. Good deals, almost as good, sometimes better than some BF deals even... not even during BF. w00t. But yes, this is addicting. And though it's warmer here *yet raining!*, I am questioning myself and also praying the rain stops by 3am.. Heh. Thankfully BF is only one day a year.
-
I'd bet very little chance. 3am is very late for Best Buy and that Kodak camera seems to be a hot deal (I haven't looked at it much, but from what I've read on this forum in the past day...). Good luck.
-
I honestly don't know, as I've never shopped Walmart on BF, let alone been able to compare 24 hour vs. regular hour stores. Just figure, even if you do leave now, you have a better chance at the items then if you leave in an hour or two. Either way, it sounds like you are going to be awake, so I'd go now to be sure.
-
Don't you want pretty hot items from Walmart? Go now!! Get in line and just sip on your coffee.
-
Live and learn. That stinks! Were you able to get anything else you wanted?!
-
Nope. Can't really afford too, sadly. Maybe it's a good thing though, lol. I am going to hit one store though, they don't open until 5am (12am here now), I am not even bothering until 4am probably (not wanting the doorbusters anyway).
