  1. This happened two years at KMart here in Oregon. They didn't have a number of in ad items, NONE AT ALL. People were severely PO'd. :/
  2. Shopped online on Old Navy for maternity, got 7 tops for $45 shipped. And that's IT. I was going to try and get jeans at the ON here (hate buying them online) but the lines were just insane, so I left.
  3. A bit different line report.. I went to Old Navy in Clackamas, OR at 4am. They had at least 8 cashiers (maybe more), and EACH line was wound through the store, each having to have at least 100 people in each one. It was INSANE. Kohl's was similar, though maybe 25-50 people in each line.
  4. That makes me curious. Only because people sell GCs on eBay and such, so.. I guess I just don't trust people that much anymore. I'm doing something similar in helping various families (not just one family, but giving families what I have that they need). For this program, very few ask for GCs, most are asking for clothes for their children, some toys and then sheets, shoes, and other necessities. These people expect used items, which is why I am able to participate. But in years past, when I did the giving tree and such, I, like you, enjoyed the shopping part of it.
  5. sracer - It can happen at ANY store. Why couldn't it? Last year, I had a Toys R Us *EMPLOYEE* grab my pregnant belly to push me back out of electronics. I mean, of all people.. so yes, it can happen anywhere, for any reason and at anytime on BF.
  6. WHAT? They dx'd the miscarriage at the store? Even if she were far enough along to hear a heartbeat, paramedics don't dx miscarriages - you go to to the hospital and get an ultrasound. Babies are SOOOOOO incredibly well protected in the womb, it'd take some severe trampling on her abdomen to cause it to die... that is just weird to me.. I don't doubt that in a rare case it could happen but being told at the scene that her baby died? Nope. Don't buy it. Even if she were severely bleeding, they wouldn't tell her that. I am sorry about the worker. That is terrible.
  7. Go to www.car-seat.org and ask them on the forums. I do not suggest the Cosco AOE's myself.
  8. I agree. But if you had outright bad customer service, that is what she be reported and complained about. I'm all about reporting bad customer service and such, but the warranty thing is what it is.. but the bad CS? That's another ballgame and needs reported.
  9. Search for "safeway coupon codes" I found these: Free Shipping on 1st 3 Orders $50+ Coupon Code: 3FREENOW Expires: 7/1/08 Free Delivery on First Order of $50 or more Coupon Code: EASY7 Expires: Unknown Free Delivery on Next 3 Orders Coupon Code: PHILFREE Expires: Unknown $10 off first $100 purchases Coupon Code: FIRSTSHOP10 Expires: Unknown Some may not work in your area. And with Safeway there is a $50 minimum order rule.
  10. Some stores near you may very well do it. For instance, we have Safeway and Albertson's here and both deliver (for a fee). Safeway's fee is now $12.95 but I never order unless I have a coupon code to make it free delivery. Also, you don't have the amount of options online like you do in store. So it's almost cheaper to drive to the store and spend the time shopping yourself to get the off brands and great selection in general. Plus of course, you cannot use coupons for most online grocery retailers. Amazon also delivers groceries, though of course not perishables that I know of. There's also Schwan's, New Seasons Market (they deliver here as well, I just remembered), etc. (Peapod is another that I found on Google here: http://www.peapod.com/?001=534&002=33&003=1&004=&005=&006=10010 though they don't deliver to many areas apparently) Just Google "grocery delivery" or similar and maybe input your zip code as well to narrow the search. :)
  11. Call them and complain. They may write up a note to reserve you $2 cash the next time you come in. I'm sure they'd understand why anyone would not drive back for $2, but you still deserve it when you go back.
  12. I don't know how I get them?! I don't have their card, never have. I have a Visa/debit through my bank and I began getting them around the time we moved our banking to them (Wells Fargo). I remember because that's when we moved into our new house as well. Hmm.
  13. They'd give me (well supposedly) around $48 for my old digi cam which is about what they sell used for on eBay and CraigsList as well.
  14. True, though the title needs updating if that's going to be the regular updated coupon for Walgreens thread..

  16. Sadly they don't carry the larger size. :/ I ended up ordering them from JcP's. Thanks all.
  17. Nice. I shopped there the other night but paid the $7 to ship, since I had a $10 off of $50 code. :)
  18. Trying to find the cheapest price on Levi's 550's Relaxed Fit (size 42 x 36!!! medium stonewash or similar color) for men. Levi's has a 30% off code for their site right now, which brings the 550's to around $40ish. Hoping to find a bit better deal if possible. Thanks.

  20. Are you kidding? These are selling on eBay for $899! Dang resellers.. Hehe.
  21. Won't work for me either. I tried signing up for a new account, using a different CC, and it still denies me from using the code. Hmm.. Okay, it won't work because both items aren't $20+ (even though one is $15.99 and one is $9.99 - so the total is $20.01+). Oh well.
  22. Just make sure whatever you leave for hints costs at least two months worth of pay for him, otherwise it's not worth it.
  23. I am glad this was taken care of. To me it was never about getting the seat for the price, but the level this associate took it too. Inappropriate. That said, I was shocked to hear about her appearance. And I have tat's and piercings! But the thing is, a lot of stores will not allow you to have piercings in during the work hours. For instance, when I worked at Sears, I had to replace my tongue ring with a place holder and they preferred I only have earrings in the lobes of my ears, not the upper cartilage even! I've noticed many Target associates with hair of all different colors and cuts, but I've yet to see one with piercings like that (beyond a small nose stud or a very small stud through their eyebrow). Not like it matters to me either way, but from hearing from my cousin (Target cashier) - it's against her stores policy anyway to have "excessive" body art (tats) showing or piercings.
