  1. Thanks... I was looking for one with a numberpad for normal use, but I may grab one of those for my personal computer repair kit.
  2. HAHA... Do you win a T-Shirt? :)
  3. woohoo! That makes this easy.... :)
  4. Unless you have found ways around that... I had to for movies that I have bought. Movies bought on the local economy here have a different region code.
  5. Actually... I already have one, but my mom wanted to buy one for my brother in-law. CompUSA may be an option. Has anyone ever bought anything from AXShop.com? I haven't heard of them before now. edit: I just checked, and couldn't find them on resellerrating either.
  6. Hey all... I'm looking for one of those flexible keyboards that are flexible/foldable. I would prefer a USB and PS/2 interface if possible. I found one at Geeks.com which is a good deal using the GottaDeal coupon. However, it is PS/2 only. There is an example of what I'm looking for HERE
  7. I do that with email all the time. But not normally with the GottaDeal.com PM system. :)
  8. I'm not a big fan of the oversized ones... although I have been known to use them. Is it possible to have the first couple of rows on the right always be the standard smilies, and then randomize the rest in that window? I think that may be the best approach... :) Those are the ones I would consider "standard" And what do you know... it is six, so it could be done perfectly in the first two rows.
  9. Great Post ActuaryTm I also agree... If you don't plan on transporting, 5.25" enclosures will offer better ventilation and cooling.
  10. It depends on what you want to use it for, and what type of HDD you put in it. If you are going to use a cooler running 5400RPM drive, it will be fine. If you want portability and don't plan on having it connected all the time, it should be fine with a 7200RPM drive. If you want an enclosure that is going to be in constant use, you really don't want to skimp on the price. As always... you get what you pay for. No matter what, I suggest getting an aluminum case as it will conduct the heat away from the drive much more efficiently.
  11. I like this one at geeks.com. Remember to use the coupon "GOTTADEAL" to save an extra 10% If you want firewire/USB, they have one for $34.50 here The second one is a "Geek Special" though, so the coupon won't work. Still, <$40 is a good price for a nice compact dual format enclosure.
  12. Thaks "Tim" :) I forgot about checking the refurb section of NewEgg. That should be perfect.
  13. I think that a Text Link in the post should take you to the main deal. The "logo" should take you to all the current GottaDeal Deals for that vendor.
  14. Wow... that really is a good deal. I may get this as a backup to our coleman tent. I think we paid about $150 for that one which is the same size as this one.
  15. Hey all... I just picked up the 19" LCD as a gift for my mom. Now, I want to find an inexpensive AGP DVI card to drive it. It is only used for 2D, so steallar 3D performance is not an option. I took a quick look at the "Egg" and found the Rosewill 9200SE for $35 shipped. not a bad deal, but I want to know what the world's best deal finders could do. Work your magic.
  16. Definately get DVI. You will thank yourself later. I just got in on the Dell deal myself. I can't pass it up again.
  17. I've used it, but I would much rather have a link for "My Threads" which would return posts that I have already responded to. Ones that have been replied to would be first followed by those that had had no response.
  18. Interesting... I will have to go check it out.
  19. Nice deal. If I didn't already have 3 reseller accounts, I would have to think hard about that.
  20. Sounds like a challenge
  21. Haven't found any deals on that model specifically... but man... those pumps are expensive. The landslide LS55 looks like a filtration system to me... not the pump.
  22. ahhh... A woman after my own heart. It is tough to find a woman that is tolerant of computer habits... Or HotDeal habits... Right Ross?
  23. For ordering an entire computer, ZipZoomFly is also good. If you aren't in a hurry, you can keep watching here and find a lot of hot deals on some components AR or from various vendors. The quickest way is definately to get everything from one vendor. Although it may be just as fast to split the order between ZZF and the EGG.
