  1. It is pretty common knowledge that there aren't a lot of deals on Apple products over the holidays. I don't think any real deals on them have been leaked yet.
  2. Interesting... I need new tires this year. I'll have to check the ads.
  3. I was hoping you would switch to hangouts this year so I could cast it on the big screen... 60" of BigJimSlade! Looking forward to the casts. BTW... Livestream is listing it as starting an our later than what you have above... what time is it actually starting?
  4. I recommend LibreOffice. The development is more active than OpenOffice that it was split from.
  5. They should just pay Brad and post them here first...
  6. We've not done a long sleeve T yet... I like that idea. I can never have enough hoodies too.
  7. Good question. Is there a specific need for Windows? I don't like them as much unless you are going to go all out and get a Surface. But those come at a premium.
  8. I'm really thinking of getting a Chromebook this year if the prices are right for a decent model.
  9. We should have a lot to talk about here soon... All kinds of announcements for new phones coming in the next few weeks.
  10. Thanks... I already have a decent sound solution in the basement... I'll have to do some research.
  11. This is hugely variable every year... One bet is that they will go on sale at the same time as the B&M, but that is never a guarantee....
  12. What about a good HDTV Projector? I'm sort of interested for one for my basement... but now I'm thinking that the 70" Vizio would be a better deal....
  13. Hey 'Chief, Loved reading the history of the comparison chart... Has it really been that long? Man... we are getting old...
  14. I'm sure the 70" will sell quickly, but I don't know if it will be that "hot". Not many people have room for a TV that size... Although I would consider one...
  15. Just a TV so far... I'm looking for an SSD, but haven't found any yet.
  16. Sounds like a good candidate for something in the Kindle line. If it is strictly for reading books, the paperwhite is very nice.
  17. I just picked up a 32" Seiki TV for $129 at a Veterans Day sale at AAFES. I was actually very surprised by the quality... nice thin bezel and full 1080p. If you have access to an AAFES you can grab one for the next couple days.
  18. I agree. There are a lot of tools here to use. My best and short advice is to research. Make a plan, and execute it. The planning is key if you plan on hitting the B&M stores.
