Does anyone know where I can find a review on this? I've been thinking of getting something along these lines for my MP3 collection. -

If the deal is good enough and the ram doesn't work for you... then yes. :) -

ok ok.. I see your point. I've upgraded Dells before and haven't had a problem. tell you what... You have the sdible guarantee stamp. Purchase the memory... if it doesn't work, I will reimburse you your full cost and you can send it to me. They don't ship to APOs, and I'm looking for some spare sticks of PC3200. I will even include extra for shipping and your time. :) -

No sense in paying more for PC2100 memory... PC3200 is backwards compatible. The one I posted is $16.99 shipped after rebate, AND it was in the daily deals BEFORE Ross posted this... I think he has gotten too busy to check his own forum first. -

ummmm.... ok... What do I win? -
120x25 is the standard size. I like Panaflow L1A fans the best. They are quiet but still move a decent amount of air. Some less expensive fans can be rather annoying.

The top should be an exhaust... Warm air rises... So you pull in the coolest air from the front at the bottom, and exhaust it at the top of the case with the 120 and the PSU. If you make the 120, 80s, and side panels all intakes, you will create a positive pressure inside the case, and the PSU fan will not be able to properly exhaust the hot air.
-
exact sizes aren't listed, but that looks like 1 120mm fan in the back (exhaust) 2 80mm fans in the front (intake) I would suggest getting at least one 80mm for the front, and then the 120 for the back. My diagram above still holds true, but there is just one fan and the PSU for exhaust. edit: After looking at it again, it appears that case hase holes for 80, 92, and 120mm fans in the back. I would suggest the 120 for the best performance.

Well, try a -R disk in the new one, and let us know how it goes. Meritline actually sells DVD samplers. Basically, you get two disks in a DVD case to try out. I suggest Ritek as they are well known to be a quality media. Meritline DVD samplers $3.75 with free shipping

Given that it is Socket 370, I'm going to wager a guess that it is a 60x15 fan. 60mm (6cm) and low profile. SVC 60x15 fans link You can probably get away with a non low profile fan if you have enough clearance above the fan... SVC 60x25 fans You will note right away that the selection of 60x25 fans is larger.

That is tough to tell from the pictures... measure the diameter of the fan in cm, and post back.

This is dependant on your set top player. What type of media are you using? In general, DVD-R has the greatest compatibility. If you are using +R now, try a -R. If you are using -R, try a +R. Also, if you have a friend that can test it in their player, that will help confirm if your disks are good. Most newer DVD players will play anything you throw at them. We picked up a $30 no name DVD player over the summer and it plays everything.

If you plan on making legal backups of the DVDs you own, there is nothing better than DVDShrink. If you want to archive an entire DVD, without compression. Nothing beats DVD Decrypter.

It might be time to upgrade my NEC-2500a :)

hmmm... Do you have a link to the "actual" case that you have? The one that I looked at had 2x80mm fan positions in the front and rear. Yours could be slightly different though.
