Seems like a good deal. I will have to show this to my wife tonight. She is considering ditching the desktop to go to a laptop only solution. This would still be a significant upgrade to her 1700+ Athlon Desktop.

You might get a better response if you give an idea of "what" exactly you would like added. Or at least examples. But I think it could be a good idea.

It is in your Control Panel. There are two ways that you can do it: 1. Go to the User CP link in the upper left. From there, click on "Edit Avatar." At the bottom of that page, there is an option for uploading your own avatar. 2. Click on the "Quick Links" and then choose "Edit Avatar." Again, the option is on the bottom of that page. Make sure that you pay attention to the size restrictions, or it will not allow you to upload the image. If you need help resizing an image as an avatar, send me a PM (Private Message). I will be more than happy to help.

I use that feature some times, but it is really the opposite of what I would want.

Hey guys... I don't know when the next version of GottaDeal will surface, but in light of the recent Feng Shui incident, how about a feature to ignore a thread that you are not interested in or find offensive? The idea came to me in the "Can we hide the Feng Shui thread" I'm not taking sides either way as it didn't really bother me.

With all of her posts, outnumbered would surely know if there was a benifit... :)

Of course, you could just update your signature every day with your mood. :) I would think that a per-post mood would be cool, but would probably really add a lot of stress to the server. Sometimes I have a much different mood depending on the thread I'm looking at.

Hey all... As many of you know, we are currently setting up in the U.S. again. Since we were gone so long, we no longer have any American phones. My wife isn't that good with the tech stuff, so I figured I would drop a line here to see if anybody knows of any good deals going on over the next week. Here is what I would like to see... A good 2.4 or 5.8 GHz Cordless phone with answering machine. One of the phone systems would be nice as well, where you can add multiple handsets, but that isn't a necessity. We've had good luck with Panasonic in the past. I would like to go with something that my wife could just go and get locally, but a good online deal is not out of the question. Let me know what you can find.
