  1. I'm definately interested! Bring it on!
  2. That looks like a pretty good deal to add wireless as well.
  3. That is good choice as well. However, I'm not as familiar with the options for that. Check out my link above... I'm sure you will find a bunch of info there.
  4. I think best bang for the buck may still be an nForce2 board with a mobile processor. If you want some more speed, there are plenty of socket 754 athlon64 options out there. Whichever you choose, get something with a passively cooled chipset. Regardless of the cpu you choose, there are plenty of quiet coolers out there. The PSU of this case is not the quietest, so you will get some noise from that. A good place to get some info on this is over at the forums at sfftech http://www.sfftech.com
  5. I paid a bit more than that for mine when I got it. I plan on putting a A64 Socket 939 3200+ and an ATI x800xl video card... It will be one fast little computer.
  6. This is a fun little case if you are looking to build a space saving computer that is still expandable. I'm waiting for parts to build mine back up now.
  7. This should really be listed as YMMV. Many Circuit City Stores will not PM with Sam's Club.
  8. I would say for a couple of months now. I'm sure there will be a deal on it sooner or later. And I assure you that GottaDeal will have the scoop on it. So stick around... you never know what kind of deals will be coming up in the future.
  9. I've been waiting for this for a while, but Dell hasn't been giving those looking for the 2001fp much love lately. It is all about the 1905fp and the new 2005fpw wide monitor.
  10. voted. USO to support the troops and deployed family members. It is really a joy to go to one of their shows when you are so far from home. Not to mention all the support you get around the world when traveling.
  11. That is where I will go next if I can't find them. I already thought of that. GeekGirl I can get the heatsink new from directron for $5 with all the hardware. But I already have about 3 or 4 heatsinks lying around. it looks like I may have to go the epoxy route.
  12. hmmmm... the pics are showing up here.
  13. I agree. It is really becomming old technology with "g" becoming so prominent... even that will be old tech soon.
  14. I added pics to the original post. Maybe that will help DigDoug.
  15. *smack* apparently you aren't up for the challenge then. :)
  16. Ok, I'm looking for the small platic pins used to attach heatsinks to northbridge/southbridge chips and or video GPUs. They are kind of like the pins seen here. I have about 3 northbridge heatsinks similar to this lying around, and I just want a way to attach them. I took some pics of the one that I have for reference... http://www.pictars.com/users/sdible/small/pin1.gifhttp://www.pictars.com/users/sdible/small/pin2.gif
  17. I didn't really look anyplace else... let me see what I can find. Here is a link to one from newegg for about $31 shipped. It is just 802.11b/g though. no a.
  18. The antenna connectors should be the same. The one you linked to "should" work fine. Call Dell to get a confirmation.
  19. I don't know if you pulled the trigger already, but if this is a "commuter" bike, I would shy away from low end full suspension bikes. There will be a lot of pedal bob, and you will lose a lot of energy to that. A hardtail is best for the road. Just my $0.02
  20. That is a decent enclosure if you just want an external burner or something. It is plastic, so I wouldn't want to put a hard drive in it. As for the slot cooler, I would say you are better off putting an 80mm fan in the system. :)
  21. The toshiba 30GB 2.5" hard drive is a great deal! Pair that with a external enclosure, and you have a slick bus powered portable drive for around $50
  22. Yum. I would be all over this if I didn't only get 1 channel.
  23. They aren't really good to use, but I always like to carry certain hardware when I go to fix a computer. You never know what you will fine. I will have to list the parts in my computer toolkit some time.
