  1. I still want an LCD for my wife, but I don't think she would go for the wide aspect. I will wait for the normal ones to go on sale again.
  2. I would say some each way. You should start with a 1 GB MuVo TX FM. :)
  3. My way has always worked... just type it out. That being said, I like the new method.
  4. Yes.... I have already used them!
  5. Great new features. I'm checking many of then out now. The skin looks stunning. Inline editing is very cool! Thanks guys! :) Edit: I just wanted to edit this thread to check out the in-line editing.
  6. Spend until the CC gets denied. :) Actually ... that wouldn't be very smart for me. I could puchase a pretty nice car on my credit line. Two if you count my wife's too. :)
  7. Did you check out this Dell GottaDeal 45% off selected laptops that are $1299 or higher. $1299 * 0.55 = $714.45 A great deal on a Dell computer. That coupon code has limited uses though, so you would want to order soon.
  8. Yes, that was it. :)
  9. The end of the financial quarters is typically when you will see the best deals from Dell. They have been so regular, that I would not buy anything from Dell until I see what their next round of specials are. :)
  10. I'm the same way... that is why I like it. :)
  11. I like the MS one, because the transmitter is stored on the underside of the mouse when not in use. Link at NewEgg
  12. Just wait until another lawyer gets ahold of it. "So, since you are saying this is an official timestamp, can you verify the last time your fax machine time was calibrated by an ISO 9001 acredited agency?" "I'm sorry, we just set it to the local time." "So are you saying then that this could be the incorrect time?" "Yes, but not by that much." "So even if it is not off by much, is it still an incorrect time?" Or even something like: "Sir, please take a look at this document. Is this the original document that was received in your office?" "Yes" "Thank you, no further questions" next witness "Maam, do you remember faxing a document to insert lawfirm name here on January 01, 2005?" "Yes" "Please look at this document closely. Is this the document that you sent?" "Well, it is close. There is an extra date and time at the bottom that wasn't on the document that I sent." "So, are you saying that insert lawfirm name here modified the document after it was faxed from your office?" "It would appear so." "Thank you, no further questions." Or something like that. :) Can you tell I work for a a company that is ISO9001, 14001 and 17025? Our clocks actually sync daily to a radio signal that is tuned to an atomic clock. All of our computers sync their time and date at every logon. Just another reason why a paperless system would be even better. Then, that timestamp would be "legally defensible." Ok... enough from me.
  13. Why are they so interested in a timestamp on every page anyway? I don't see why the report isn't enough. I would think they would be more interested in a report of the stuff they "send." But I digress. I wasn't able to find anything that did what you wanted directly. You are right... it just isn't a feature that is listed. I don't guess there is a high demand for it.
  14. Nice... Something else to look forward to. I feel like I've really made some good suggestions around here. First, the sticky smilies and now this. sdible, GottaDeal consultant. :)
  15. I stick with both of those. I like Godaddy, but I suggest to my clients that are concerened about privacy to go with Namecheap for the free whois guard.
  16. Thanks Brad...
  17. To the Powers That be: I thought of another feature that I would like to see. Well two actually. I'm a member of another forum that uses phpBB. (mrexcel.com) On that page, in addition to a links to your subscribed threads and new threads since last visit, they also have one for: View unanswered posts - This brings up all the posts that nobody has answered yet. This would be helpful for the person that is always wanting to help out, but may not have the time to wade through all the forums. (aka: sdible) Another one they have is: View your posts - which is a quick way to bring up all the posts that you have started or replied to. Some times, I don't subscribe to a thread and think of something to add later. I can find it using a search, but this way is much quicker. Both of these would be good additions to the "Quick Links" options. Thoughts?
  18. They will be. Don't worry. There isn't enough time in the day it seems.
  19. What about setting up a computer and going paperless? Just a thought. I haven't used enough fax machines to know specific models, but I will sure see if I can find anything.
  20. Well... I have a night to think about it before I take the plunge. If anyone finds anything else, post it here.
  21. Yes and no. You could build a server and run it. However, they are big, noise and take more energy to run. This is an out of the box solution. No software to worry about really.
  22. Ok, I think that I'm finally going to drop some money on a NAS. I found that Fry's (Outpost.com) has the Buffalo TeraServer (4x250MB) on sale for about $769 after rebate. Here is a link I already have 2x200 GB drives that I could use if I can find a cheap 4xIDE drive server enclosure. Right now, I'm running a Linux server to handle my needs. However, I want to move to a Raid array. This will also cut down on noise and energy usage. I could even get a good external drive enclosure and connect the 200GB drives I already have... Does anyone know of a better deal than this right now? One of the rebates ends tomorrow, so I need to make a move soon if I'm going to do it.
  23. Yes, congrats on the new case. Now fill it full of goodies.... :)
  24. That is a great idea. If there isn't something out there like that, someone should write it. As an alternative, you can just bug Brad until he stickies the Smilies that you like the most.
  25. Excellent. New features are always fun. Any hints on what we can expect?
