I honestly don't see them avoiding it too much either way. I think if they release then it gives people time to look over the ad's while they are watching news and such to see who'd ahead.

Honestly when it comes to deals, if it seems to be a good deal then I usually just jump on it. Sometimes you wait for the better deal and that one closes out.
-
I'm good with anything that pops up. I try to make it when I can, sadly life gets in the way at times.

Same here, we actually own a bunch of Christmas Movies and have some that stay on the DVR year round. We tend to watch them at random times. We watched National Lampoons Christmas Vacation a couple weeks ago, watched Home Alone 2 last night.

I don't blame campers at all for it. No matter what day the sales start on the hardcore will be there well before that.

I've noticed this as a trend across the price spectrum lately. Definitely not likely to get one in the thinner machines. When I swapped out to a MacBook air (yes I know Apple) I thought the no DVD drive thing would drive me nuts. Can honestly say I haven't needed it yet, everything I've used has been downloaded, I think internet is taking over in that aspect.

You caught me I didn't read it We have used price matching at all stores that we go to that have it. It makes life easier. Some of the things we buy the price difference is significant and we will leave the store in order to go purchase it at another store. Seems to me Walmart is already having sales issues and doing this will drive even more sales away. Ol Sam must be super happy.

We don't go out on Thanksgiving. All the shopping that gets done at that point is online only. I have resigned myself to the fact that we won't get door busters any longer since they are no longer on Friday. So I stay up late working on stuff and grab the things that pop up online as I see them. If they switch back to Friday I'm all for it will bring back some of what has been missing the past couple of years. Though I have to say the stores are much less busy when we get to them early Friday now lol.

I know the ones around us are still doing it. We had then price match their own site for a ladder we bought.

I know many of us have voiced our opinion on this either against or for it but I found this very interesting. Was just looking at a local paper and ran across this article. http://www.mlive.com/business/index.ssf/2016/10/mall_thanksgiving_hours_michig.html#incart_river_home Largest shopping mall in the US is closing for the day this year The Mall Of America says it will be closed the entire day for all 1,200 hours and that they will reopen as of 5am on Black Friday. They are saying this could be very influential across the retail scene.
-
I haven't heard anything about it. Something like that I would expect to make the news. If that's the case I can see them losing a lot of business to places that do price match or Amazon.

We use a drawstring backpack on almost every vacation, makes it easier to carry things we need around to beaches and theme parks and stuff.

Awesome. Maybe I will be doing some Staples visiting this year.

Hey you could get home and the air could be stuck on like 30 and you can't turn it off. Then you will be wishing you had those socks.

Company I used to work for got a really good deal on Computer bags and backpacks that had their logo and stuff. I don't remember where they got the deal but I'm sure there are shops out there. They weren't like $200 Ogio Backpacks or Bags but they held up decent and I still use one for my daughter portable DVD player when we travel. Another company did these duffel bags, my wife loves the one I got lol.

The stock on Apples site for refurbs constantly changes with those being sold and new stuff coming in. Honestly if you see one you want and have the funds available may as well just grab it. Apple isn't real generous when it comes to lowering prices for the holidays lol.
-
Oh I think it will pick up more and more as time goes on. I think we are still a ways from the first release. There are also other sites out there now so it's spread some.

My wifes younger brothers is Dec 26. They have always made it a point to make sure that he gets a birthday and that presents and the like are in birthday paper and such. Same thing we do with our little one. Don't want anyone to feel cheated.

It's hard to say. They do a bunch of different bundles each year. Check the big ones for it, Target, Walmart, BB, Gamestop. -
I just noticed they posted the 2016 TV Christmas Movie Schedule. We will be setting some of these up on our DVR I'm sure. The holidays are quickly coming http://itsawonderfulmovie.blogspot.com/2014/09/christmas-movie-tv-schedule-hallmark-up.html

We have been making this recipe for Christmas Brunch for at least the past 6-7 years. It's a recipe from Paula Deen so you know it's not good for you. I leave out the corn syrup in the topping though (honestly to me didn't add anything). We do this and a hashbrown casserole, usually some sausage and bacon. Everyone loves it and for me I made it the night before and then just took it all out and put it in to bake the next morning. That way all I had to worry about cooking was some sausage and bacon. http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/paula-deen/baked-french-toast-casserole-with-maple-syrup-recipe2.html

He was probably visiting some of those monks in the Himalayan mountains trying to bring peace to his inner self before the madness of BF pops him with a right hook out of nowhere.

As long as they are the nice soft ones again it's all good
