I'm hoping it's available it's what I'm getting for my wife. Good thing is that it's either $100 gift card from them or $100 off the price from Best Buy.

UPS actually dropped mine so you have hope. I know they have a deal with the USPS that works for deliveries both ways.

My 2 shirts just got here. LOVE the softness of them. I'm pretty sure I will wear this one out lol.

There are some decent TV deals I think it's the margins getting so tight on what they make on these things that the prices can only get so low before it just doesn't make sense to even sell it. They are all in business to stay in business. Selling at a loss does not equal good business as someone else here said once (can't remember who) just as Circuit City how doing that worked out for them.

Well that was completely underwhelming.

I think bigjimslade is actually Santa. I mean think about it he sneaks in BOOM does his job and then disappears into the night leaving all of us happier, smiling and wondering when we will see him again. -
Walmart: Samsung 55" HDTV - $498.00 Target: Apple Watch with $100 Gift Card - $349.00 Parrot Drone - $69.99 Nintendo 3DS XL - $179.99 Total - $1096.98 but the overage could be covered by the $100 gift card and this gives us 3 presents and the TV we are looking for.

No sir it wasn't cheap. I got a good deal on Amazon on a sale I've also heard from a friend who has the Netgear Nighthawk R7000 that it cleared up a lot of his issues also. That one is a Dual Band but he said it's been very stable for him. I can only go by what I have had and what he tells me but both have been very positive results. I paid a decent amount for the Amped Wireless RTA15 I have now sitting in a box and was NOT happy to spend so much on the Netgear router but not worrying about my devices no longer being able to connect and then having to go reboot the router has more than been worth the extra money to me.

Who is ready to decorate? When will you start decorating?

Ya I told my wife we should measure the high point in the main part of our house (has to be 20'+ in there) and see how large of a tree we can buy. -
I have the Netgear Nighthawk AC3200. First Netgear Router I've had but so far I'm impressed.

Walmart servers/site are always horrible any time anything seems to be on sale. Really surprises me too knowing the hardware they have in their data center (been in there with a company I worked for).

Honestly to me Appliance are one of those things that are ALWAYS on sale at one store or another. If you miss one another will have a sale on it lol. Having said that the BF sales are sometimes a LITTLE better. We bought the refrigerator for our new house on BF because the one we wanted a local place had a great deal on. They ended up storing it for us for a few months until the house was done being built and we signed lol.

I guess I'm old now. I just don't get these things.

I would have just kept walking and said I asked you and you said no. So is life.

I should have stated if it is IN the price range you set then I see no reason to avoid. I don't think you should set out for 4K at all costs but when the prices come within a certain range of each other and both support the other things you want (i.e. smart and so forth) then why not go for it.

Tp be honest the largest thing I have gotten out of the new router which is very important to me is stability. As I said above I was using an Amped router which had good wireless coverage area but when your connections to the wireless drop and have to reconnect range doesn't really matter. I found it to have issues with many of the newer devices that allow for higher connection speeds. The new one has been rock solid for a couple months now.
-
Tri-Band should give you 3 Wireless Signals from the router 2 in the 5GHz Range and 1 in the 2.4GHz band, overall it should allow for better device connections and faster transfers. I have one of the Netgear Routers that I replaced an Amped Router with and I can tell you so far I am extremely satisfied with the new router. Connections are far more stable across the many devices we have in the house, the router in general seems to be a more responsive. All if all it's been a great experience even though I waffled about the price but stability was more important to me than a little savings.

To be honest I don't really think about broadcast when I'm thinking quality, I'm more along the lines of streaming and disc based technology for higher quality. As for the format wars yes they are always going to be there and I'm sure some of the different sides will hope they win, so I have to ask what standard are most of the TV sets coming out today supporting? Are they supporting the same standards? I have had all the formats and still to this day use HD DVD for some of the movies that we got on it, I was ok when they lost since we then got a ton of free or cheap movies to watch.

Ya I was looking at the 1998 BF Ad lol My useful response would be No not as of yet. Usually Best Buy has some decent deals on them.

I would say go based on reviews of the camera from sites that specialize in the type of camera you want. I ended up getting the more expensive camera when I did it not because more=better but because the pro reviews stated that some of the ways I knew she would use it worked better on the Nikon vs the Canon and the Canon had some better things that I knew wouldn't matter to her. End of the story I'm just saying get a price range and go on good pro reviews lol.

Ya there are things I am positive I had to skip a word because I couldn't read what it said while entering them lol. Some I don't know if it's the glare or they just flat out didn't put the price or discount in for 2 of the consoles.

I'm sure we will be heading back there in the next 3-4 weeks. Want some snow so that we can take our little one on a horse drawn carriage ride through town. As for busy it all depends on when you go during the week during the day it's usually good. Weekend ya not so much lol. We are going to try staying at Zehnder's Splash Village sometime soon also.

Yes we are probably doing both this year. I haven't made it in the past but looks fairly straight forward. My daughter (4) loves to help cook so she will have her hands in a lot of it. I cooked for a living at one time so I don't stress about these types of dinners I just treat it like I'm working a banquet lol.
