Hope everyone has a wonderful 4th of July weekend. We are going to cook up some ribs and corn.

I was back in town a couple weeks ago and wanted to do Frankenmuth but didn't get to. I want to go the next time I'm there. I really want to check out the new water park at Bavarian Inn.

I’m kinda wishing this silly hot weather would end. I don’t mind some heat but I do t need it triple digits.

Been stupid hot today. Driving back home from seeing family and it’s been 95-99 actual temp the entire day. Stopped to charge our car and I thought I was going to bake getting the charge cable hooked up and started.

Some things are cheaper at one some things are cheaper at the other. I got a Costco membership on one of those really cheap deals. Never bothered to renew it. Too stupidly busy for me.

Crazy June is already here. Took my daughter out and gave her, her first driving lesson on Friday after work. Big empty parking lot at the local church. Made me feel old and proud.

I can’t believe this year is almost half over already. Where has the time gone?

Well I read another batch of Big Lots are opening on May 15th and then a bunch more I think it said like the first week of June.

Thanks. Yes I know the feeling. My wife wants to rip out these bushes that are in the middle of our front yard and replace with flowers and some boulders. Have to get HOA approval. We are going to add stairs to our back deck. Have to get HOA approval. We are going to repaint the outside of the house, have to get approval and the house can’t be the same color as any other houses within 5 houses of us in all directions. It’s a ton of houses because we are on a corner. Insanity. Happy May all.

Last year I had to hire True Green there, the dandelions were out of hand and I could not get rid of them or the weeds from them. Once they were out a few times the yard cleared up just enough for me to sell and leave. I had to hire someone to come mow my yard here. I've not had the time or inclination to buy a mower lol

I’d love no mow may. Biggest issues are snakes and HOA. Not sure which I detest more. Just being back in an annoying one has already made us discuss buying a few acres and building again.

I didn’t want to stay up so I didn’t try lol. Guess I won’t get it until the 2nd or 3rd wave ships.

Was reading they are starting to open a bunch of Big Lots stores again. New leases (guessing friendlier) and remodels.

It’s April and it’s been showering all day here. Taxes are done except the painful part of sending them even more money. Not looking forward to work tomorrow. Think I need a couple of weeks off with nothing to do.

Can’t believe the month is over.

Can’t believe February is already gone. Seems like it just started last week.

Looks like Joann is now closing all stores.

Sounds like Kohls is closing 27 stores by April.

In the Low 30's here today again and there were flurries when we went to get our daughter from staying at a friends last night (they are off school this week). Week or so ago we hit 80 one day, needless to say we have ALL been sick.

Ya I sort of feel they will just move stuff to other stores. A lot of these closeout deals I see is they bring in stuff they never carried and the stuff you want is already gone somehow.

Was reading that Joann’s is closing about 500 of their 800 stores with this round of bankruptcy. Not going to be many of them left inmost states.
