Ya I'm in MI also I heard upper 40's but 100% chance of rain.

We will be putting up one of the trees today, probably the rest of them this weekend and get the house decorated inside. I have been so busy I haven't finished my outside lighting project. I have it all working like it's supposed to but I only have half of it wired up. Hopefully I will get it finished next weekend.

Sure. Let me ask do you have a Micro Center near you? The carry a lot of parts local in store and their prices are reasonable. If not no fret NewEgg.com has all the parts you will need. First question what are you looking to spend overall? If I have that then I can go and pull some parts for you and send them to you in a PM so I don't junk up the thread too much. I personally still use AMD for a processor as I like the cost/performance over Intel. The Intel CPUs are more expensive but more expensive. Now I also have to ask what sort of games does he intend to play on it that can effect my suggestions on the Video Card to use. If you can answer these I would be happy to put something together for you to look at real quick. It's really not hard to put together and in my eyes is a great learning experience and I have found is usually a great boost when they tell their friends ya I built my own machine. The hardest part is installing the operating system but today that's more of a lot of waiting for things to happen than actually doing anything lol.

Wow pretty lackluster pricing to me. A lot of that stuff is the same price as normal retail. The Fire Tablet isn't that the same one that Amazon sells for $50 and they are just giving you a 32GB SD card and a case for an extra $5 ($49.99 for a 32GB SD card REALLY?? Who pays that). Apple TV's are the same price as everyone sells them for right now. Only thing I might be interested in is the Hobby Kits for our nephew I think he might like those.

I would agree, a couple of stores are having decent deals on them. Macmall dot com usually does a BF sale also. Apple also does their refurbs online and they sometimes have good deals. You get the same warranty as if they were new.

I've always loved techno speak that the manufacturers put on their products. If your 120 Hz technology was actually 120 Hz you would just make it 120 Hz. 60 is not 120 don't have to be a match major to figure that out.

I think printer quality is decent across the spectrum depending on what it is you plan to do with the printer. Some will be faster, better quality print, more features (scanner, copier, fax) and so on. A lot of it to me has come down to ink costs. I have had a Cannon MG5220 for about 3-4 years now, I pay under $5 for an entire set of ink on amazon and now and then they deals where I can get it as low and $1.50 for an entire set. So until this one dies or I can find a new one that uses the same ink I will be sticking with it lol.

Even with the 2.0 models you can use any K-Cup. It's pretty easy system to beat and there is actually a company out there that will send you a clip that beats the system. Keurig wasn't happy about it but nothing they can do.

Tony's has killer breakfast. Meant both way's the food is good and the portions HUGE and if you eat it all it just may kill you lol

If you have a Sam's Membership they had the K450 for $99 this past weekend. Same one I bought a few weeks back for $149 lol.

Was at Sam's yesterday afternoon and they had most of the TV's still there. I almost picked up the Hitachi 55" TV for $398 but decided to just hold off because I couldn't find any reviews on it.
