Just went to the old ones being posted. Circuit City was showing. Man I miss some of the old stores. Guess I’m old I prefer to be able to hold what I buy at the point I buy it. I find myself shopping Amazon less and less every year. Didn’t buy a thing this Amazon days sale.

Black Friday and Football. All is good right now.

I have a feeling it’s going to be a little worse with all the tariffs taking their toll on deals. I also think it’s going to be so spread out that it’s going to be hard to determine if the deals will be any better with the later sales.

I’m a firm believer that recovery is as much mental as it is physical. If he believes he will be better and then puts in the hard work things will get better.

Ahhh retirement, something I look forward to but not sure I will ever get to do. We go out still for the nostalgia also. I always have the week off.

So sorry to hear that. He’s in our prayers.

Crazy it’s September. Soon BF will be here and gone again.

I mean it still happens but sadly it isn’t what it used to be.

Ya I’m going to miss the dream cruise, and fresh cider and donuts. I used to tell my wife cider was different at the mills. She never believed me until we went one year while visiting. She told me she thought I was crazy until she actually tried it. Now she knows.

School started here on the 1st. Wife and daughter weren’t happy. One attends and the other one teaches. Well to be fair my wife started back a week ago to get the classroom setup and all the planning and meetings.

Hopefully August is a little cooler than July was. I’m dreading seeing our electric bill for the month.

Ya ya ya just rub it in. Took my daughter for her high school open house today and we walked all over to see where her classes are. I thought someone had turned a hose on me with the heat and humidity.

Crazy that I’m looking forward to the lower 80’s temp this weekend. Yesterday I was taking my daughter to marching band practice, car said 113 when we got in, it had been sitting out in the sun all day so didn’t think much of it outside of the leather was stupid hot. Figured it would drop a ton once we were driving. Yeah, never got below 100-102. Heck no that’s way too hot.

DANG Ours is a little over $200 and I thought that was bad.

Bought my wife one of those Dyson Air Wraps last year for Christmas. This year hoping I can find some good attachments for it and a really nice case for it and the attachments.

I’ve ordered nothing so far. Not enough of a discount on things in my cart to make me care.

We had a good 4th. Did ribs on the smoker, baked beans, potato salad, corn on the cob and Mac n cheese. Yesterday we did leftovers and added some better cheddars. Today I’m doing wings on the grill. Saw fireworks off in the distance Friday and went to a local farm that did a nice display last night. Today we kind of bummed around the cabin, working on putting up a new fence here so did that yesterday and will do more tomorrow. Going to be a 2 summer job. Doing our cabin and my in-laws next door.

Hope everyone has a wonderful 4th of July weekend. We are going to cook up some ribs and corn.

I was back in town a couple weeks ago and wanted to do Frankenmuth but didn't get to. I want to go the next time I'm there. I really want to check out the new water park at Bavarian Inn.

I’m kinda wishing this silly hot weather would end. I don’t mind some heat but I do t need it triple digits.

Been stupid hot today. Driving back home from seeing family and it’s been 95-99 actual temp the entire day. Stopped to charge our car and I thought I was going to bake getting the charge cable hooked up and started.

Some things are cheaper at one some things are cheaper at the other. I got a Costco membership on one of those really cheap deals. Never bothered to renew it. Too stupidly busy for me.

Crazy June is already here. Took my daughter out and gave her, her first driving lesson on Friday after work. Big empty parking lot at the local church. Made me feel old and proud.

I can’t believe this year is almost half over already. Where has the time gone?
