Ya we end up watching a bunch of them. Use the schedule a lot lol.

The list has now been updated. Good schedule of movies out there http://itsawonderfulmovie.blogspot.com/2014/09/christmas-movie-tv-schedule-hallmark-up.html

Yes it's after the fact, but to be fair most people aren't even close to being finished shopping at that point. Many like myself are probably still out the day after Christmas picking up some things for holiday parties or next years stash lol.
-
Hopefully things really pick up now

It't the 50UH55 From LG. I really like the set, it has Web OS 3.0 which I have to say has been one of the best modern TV interfaces I've used. At some point we will put a bigger set in here, I almost wish we had gone to the 60" that was on sale also but we were worried it would be too big in our room (it wouldn't have). Though I have no regrets in getting this 50".

Couple of different things. Nintendo Switch for $250 or less (going to be the big present for our DD) and a MacBook Air 13" for $900 or less (wife's MacBook is now like 8+ years old and needs replacing it will end up with our DD).
-
They also introduced a replacement for FireTV/Fire Stick. I just pre ordered it this afternoon. It supports 4K and is a little larger than the current Fire Stick. They have a deal where you can order it with an Echo Dot for an additional $10.

Best of luck with the surgery and then the part that's just as important the rehab. My wife's gramps had the shots in his back about 6 months ago. Amazing how much they improved him. He went from constant pain and having to lay down a lot to his old self after the second set of them.

Honestly there is really nothing I want this year. Don't need anything for myself. Want to get a new Mac for my wife though.
-
May have to watch that one tonight. We are having my sister and her family over for food and movie night.
-
Come to think of it when we were at Sams last weekend they had a bunch of Christmas ribbon and stuff out.
-
Wow thats crazy. I haven't seen any at Home Depot around here yet. We go to a Christmas store here called Bronners and that's enough for me until later in the season lol.
-
I think all movies can be like that. You just have to go into them knowing what to expect. I watch a lot of this stuff with my wife but when it comes to Christmas movies I love them all.

The main reason my m-i-l missed the hallmark channel is because she missed all the Christmas movies. She said she got all of them once we signed her up for Feeln. Here is what they say on their site in the about us section: Feeln is the streaming service that brings you heartfelt stories of love and togetherness, anytime, anywhere. Feeln carefully selects every title so you spend less time searching and more time with the stories you love. Feeln brings home the beloved library of Hallmark Hall of Fame features, handpicked Hollywood movies and TV series, and award-winning originals you won't find anywhere else. Hope that helps you out.
-
Not sure what you're using for your streaming device but you can still get Hallmark. It's call Feeln you sign up online it's a subscription service, we got it for my m-i-l when they cut the cord. She loves it.

Same site I've had bookmarked for years. I check it now and then to see if they have updated

It's odd you read different stories from different places and they don't say the same facts. One I read earlier this morning in the local paper said they aren't shuttering any stores. I think the big issue is they need to lower their prices. I can almost ALWAYS get toys cheaper from many places.
-
Probably 15-20 or so with our two families.
-
We ended up watching Home Alone, Home Alone 2 (both on Freeform) and then we watched A Christmas Story on BluRay. Tonight wife wants to watch Elf and then we will probably watch Prep and Landing (dd loves it).
-
Sorry to hear that. Not fun when you have to replace all the food in the house and it's NOT cheap. We lost all of ours 4-5 years ago and we nothing in the pantry at that point either due to a different incident that had happened just before this. Once we went shopping I wanted to throw up when I saw the total and that didn't get us anywhere close to replacing what we had (had a separate freezer filled with meat). So sorry to hear that, but I am glad you're alright and you had no damage to the house.
-
That's horrible. How much damage did you have? Our family still in FL got off pretty luck, worst damage was 6 trees down one of which damaged their well head. They have that fixed now though. Then of course all the food that went bad with no power.
-
Same here, trying to decide if I will watch Home Alone 2 after this one is over or not. I still think the first one is the best one. Seems they don't do these types of Christmas movies much anymore, used to wait for the season to hit to see what would come out at the movies.
-
I am actually sitting here watching Home Alone right now (dw and dd are both sick) tonight I plan to watch A Christmas Story and possibly The Santa Clause. If they are still down tomorrow might watch Elf and Jingle All The Way.

Does it count that our daughter just randomly starts singing Christmas songs? We have been watching random Christmas movies also.
