If I could just figure out how to not have a house payment things would be awesome lol. -

Ya I look at what we spend going out to eat and I wince. I try to avoid the reality of that as much as possible. I have been telling my wife we need to stop eating out so much and cook more often and then we both get off work and have no desire to cook anything. -

But the more you bring in the more you can sell so the more you will have for the next year lol. We are doing the same, we have a donate and a sell box we are loading up. -
I wonder when the first one will be leaked. You have to figure they are already working on them.

I wish I had a Christmas Club account that I could pull some of my check to right away. Would make it easier. -
I'm here Counting down the days until the fun begins again.

I keep checking back here hoping to see a bunch of new threads and responses.

Hope they don't kill the warranty of it. I think spreading the craftsman brand to other stores will help it out though. Article I read (not WSJ as they block most of the article unless i sign in) said that the deal gives Stanley the rights to sell at stores outside of Sears/Kmart. Odd wording. Did they just buy all of craftsman including the manufacturing and such or did they buy rights to it? Either way it goes it says Sears bought Craftsman for $500 in 1927 and just sold these rights for $900 Million plus a percentage of sales of the items. Sounds like a good investment to me. I think they should kill Kmart off and try to revive Sears itself.

I heard there will be a lot of store closing for traditional retailers this year even though it was the most successful shopping year in a long time. Article I read said a lot of the stores will end up remaking themselves to add things you just can't get from places like Amazon (they used an example of trying out a treadmill). Was a pretty interesting article all in all. I honestly don't care much about K-Mart, so many have closed and the ones that remain open look like they haven't been updated since the 80's. You want your store to be a success why do you try making them look nicer. Now as for Sears that will make me sad if they go away. I have bought many things from them over the years and still tend to wander in there for tools (especially when they have a good craftsman sale).

Can't wait for the next one to roll around

That's insane. $200 for a $60 console. There is an old saying that fit's this
-
Really bothers me when retailers do that stuff.

Shopping - Nope (need to take my daughter to get a few things for mommy) Wrapping - Nope, we are going out of town for Christmas so we aren't going to wrap until we get there. Don't want the wrapping to get trashed while being shuffled around to get there. Baking - Yes we finished that. We had our big Holiday bash this past Saturday and we finished baking on Saturday. Was pulling the last of the cookies as I was also finishing off my pulled pork before all the guests started arriving lol.

I was hoping it would be also. I need to pick up a couple of Fire Sticks. Of course my wife decided this is what we should get a couple of people AFTER they were no longer on sale.

Check the cruise lines sites themselves. I know Carnival usually has some good last minute deals.

What I find funny is one package I get with something that had a fairly small value I had to sign for but the 50" LG TV they delivered they just put on the porch (2 days late) and took off.

I will wait till they are in the bargain bin at Big Lots lol. I think it's cool, used to like the games and all but I don't see a lot of time in front of this thing. Especially to pay the prices people are asking. When I can have a limited NES Classic or a full blown console for the same price the decision becomes easy

Was in Walmart on Saturday and someone who was parked next to us said they had just one from that store. Seems like some have them off and on.

That's awesome. We have talked about going to visit the house. I heard you can actually rent it out to stay a night or two. Would be awesome.

Only thing we still have out there is a gift card that came with one of our orders.

Very cool. Are the lights on the wreath battery operated?

Ya I think I just read the PS4 just went over 50 Million units sold. I'm pretty sure they still have a pretty heft lead on the Xbox also. All I can say is I miss Sega lol.

I got the Wii shortly after release, same for Wii U. I however had a really hard time finding an Xbox One. Original Xbox I had a few of them, kept stalking places and bought 2 or 3 of them. No didn't make money on them got them for a couple of friends who wanted them for their kids and had a hard time getting them. I remember getting them and picking up the box for the first time and thinking OMG this thing feels like it's filled with bricks. I'm really surprised by the flat out need for the Classic Console. All of the others that have come out from Atari and Sega you could get them at places like Big Lot shortly after release and even on release day were super easy to get. I really didn't see this big of a market for this thing. Now the new 3DS I think it was stupid to release so few of them, I wonder if they really hurt themselves by releasing 2 products at the same time. Can't even imagine how bad it would be had they released the Switch at this time also. I'm not making excuses for them I just think all of them are bad at it.

Well to be fair Neither MS or Sony are very good at that either. I seem to remember PS4, PS3, PS2, Xbox, Xbox 360 and Xbox one going for QUITE a bit more than retail in their release times.

Dromida Ominus FPV drones are supposed to be really good for beginners and more advanced. I have a couple of friends who have had then before then went up to the big ones.
