Yes it will make it easier when she needs to do larger batches of cupcakes and such. Not to mention my f-i-l will love getting our old one lol.

I was waiting for the PDF so I could go over it later and decide what would be good. Thinking about the KitchenAid Pro model they have for $399. We have been waiting a bigger one as my wife likes to bake. Pass our old one (has to be 15 years old now) on to my f-i-l.

Hopefully there is no blow back from it.

You going to toss the PDF out there so we can snag it before they scream to pull it?
-
Ya, need the PDF for my collection lol.

Depending on how it's made you should be able to cut the bottom portion main tube down some. You will need to make sure that it's not shaped on the end of the tube to fit down in a base. Also you may be able to get another tube to fit inside and drill a hole in each side and use pins in case you ever want it to be 9' again. Modifying from the bottom is probably a lot better of an idea that trying the top as you will be messing with the shape of the tree at that point. Our huge fake tree (over 9') has branches all the way down to the floor and it looks great so having the bottom row of branches lower isn't a huge deal.

Honestly we have been doing more an more onlinesince the Thursday thing started. We still go out on Friday but it's become more for the nostalgia of it than actually getting the really good deals.

I don't really think so as it's still selling really well. Especially with the new Mario coming out today. There may be some package deals but I don't foresee anything huge. I'm probably going to get it from Target so I get the 5% off for using the Red Card and then I will just return it if I'm wrong and an awesome deal comes out for BF.

chicken and dumplings sounds good. I made some chili yesterday since the temp has dropped. Really hit the spot. That and it makes for good lunch the following days. It's always kicked off here. We will bust out a Christmas movie any time we can.

My wife is a teacher in a lower income school. So each year they have a tree with Kids on it (I believe it's called an Angel Tree) and the presents they want/need for Christmas. We usually take a bunch of the names and buy gifts for them. As the days get closer if there are kids left we will get those off the tree and go shopping again. We have been blessed with good careers and I never want to see a child go without.

I check and am here far more often than is probably healthy.

That's a neat idea. Only problem is I'm going to blow it all and more on one thing for both of the years a BIG TV I think we are getting to the point on some of these things where there isn't enough meat left on the bone for them to have a huge sale. Thinking back to my plasma I bought in I think 06 from BB. We paid $1700 for it I believe it was, just the week before it was on sale for like $2400 with a normal price of $2700, that's a huge spread there.

It's honestly kind of depressing once it's all said and done. Then I have to wait for Christmas itself then it's all blah till it starts up again for the next year. I think we are all BF addicts.

This has now become a holiday appetizer go to in our house. Will be making them again for Thanksgiving and most likely Christmas. Cheeseburger Meatballs: Ingredients 1½ lb. ground beef 1 egg 1 package (2 oz.) Lipton Onion Soup Mix 3 T. ketchup 1 T. dijon mustard 3 T. sweet relish (Can sub Dill Relish) ½ c. bread crumbs 2 c. shredded cheddar cheese 1 T. worcestershire sauce Thousand Island dressing for dipping Instructions 1. Preheat the oven to 400º. 2. Add all the ingredients except the dressing to a large bowl and mix well. 3. Roll into meatballs roughly the size of a golf ball. You can use a 1½ T. scoop to make them even. 4. Place the meatballs on a parchment lined baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes. 5. Serve with thousand Island dressing for dipping.

Congrats to everyone who won

Rebates like that are the worst. Stop playing the hold the money longer game and just give the money off right then. I will pay a little more for something so I don't have to deal with a rebate.

I wish Sears would get it's act together before it's too late. Is that in the book?

At some point they are just going to open the week before and stay open 24x7 to be the first.

BJS has been around, my guess would be as we get closer to the bigger ad's coming out. Things are just starting to kick into a higher gear around here.

You are correct, the person who owns Camping World bought Gander Mountain from the bankruptcy court, he kept some of the stores (based on lease rates and sales from the past). All in all I would say it's now owned by a pretty stable company. Sort of odd he changed the name since it's one of the things he bought.

That's dedication to the tradition

I keep hoping for a really good deal on a Surface Pro. I don't NEED one but I want to mess with one.
-
I doubt you will see discounts on the One X as it will be brand new at that point.

It seems like more people are just starting to return to the site.
