I know it is 2x retail at TRU - however, if it really is sold out everywhere and is a limited edition then this might be your best option right now. I will let you know if they have it at the TRU near me.

We don't really do anything special on Christmas Eve - my dh does go and do his shopping for me though, LOL. I will make my dish to take to my grandma's house and then about 7 we meet the family over there (about 30 of us) and we eat and open presents. We usually get home by 10 pm and the kids of course fall asleep in the car on the way home. After they get to bed we put out all the presents - I am usually doing last minute wrapping and my dh will be assembling dd's bike I'm sure. While we are doing this I usually watch the "A Christmas Story" marathon.

The ones you get free are usually not alkaline batteries - they are just the "heavy duty" ones. Those do not last very long in a high use item. Alkaline batteries do last longer no matter what brand they are.

I wonder if Target or Wal-Mart will get this color in stock. Wal-Mart carries them for $47 I think and Target has them for $49.99 with the case - but they only have had the orange.

Well I set one of my deer back up. My dh was surprised I could get it back together. We will see if it lights up tonight when my timer kicks on. The doe had to be put in the trash My dh got it at Dollar General for me for $10 so I told him when he goes in to work he can check and see if they have another. I am going to go ahead and put another up. The lady across the street from me put up 5 or so inflatables in her yard yesterday and today. We will see what happens there. My dh thinks it might be this kid that got caught after breaking out the back window of our older Jimmy last summer. He got caught by the cops and was ordered to pay restitution to us. In total he had to pay $900 (that was the quote we got from a popular body shop in town). He also had to go through some "program" and when completed the charge was wiped off his record if I agreed. I did but right after his last payment to us we started having some minor problems. A concrete lion disappeared from our porch. Now these incidents of broken and missing decorations. We are going to have some bad weather the next few days but after that I will put my dh on alert - especially on Friday and Saturday nights. He is a security person and has talked about putting up a camera. I hope we can catch whoever is doing this.

Have you tried your local brick and mortar stores? I have seen them around here at Target and Wal-Mart, although I haven't looked within the last couple of weeks. If you want I will be going to Target tonight and can look and see if they have any in stock since I can't find the DCPI code on their website to check for you. Let me know.

The only deer showing in stock for delivery is the 48'' doe all the rest are oos.

I can get the animated 24'' standing buck for pick-up at my local store, however, I cannot add any of them to my cart to ship to me - the message is that they are sold out for delivery.

We had to call the cops over yesterday because our Christmas decorations were vandalized now for the 2nd time in about a week. The first time they just messed around with my plastic toy soldiers and threw one across my yard. Well on Friday they decided to stomp both of my white metal deer and actually untied and stole one of my plastic NOEL candles. They left everything else along except for those random decorations. They did about $30 in damage. I didn't file a report but I did ask the cops to request an extra patrol in our neighborhood. My dh got up 3 times last night to check our yard. I told him that I didn't think any kids would come last night because we are in a winter/ice storm. He told me this morning he even dreamed about my decorations, LOL. It is just awful that kids feel the need to destroy property to have a good time. Why can't they just do something constructive instead of destructive? I don't think I will buy new deer this year unless I find a real good deal on some.

Just a heads up that in my paper there was a seperate insert for Starbucks that includes a buy 1 get 1 coupon. It says purchase a handcrafted beverage and receive one complimentary beverage of equal or lesser value. One free beverage per coupon per person per visit. Valid through Dec 31, 2007. The insert is blue with the slogan "Be a Mint Messenger" on the front.

Tuesday morning is a good place to find reasonably priced toys. Big Lots also has lots of toys. Toys R Us has some clearance toys but you have to scour the store because clearance is mixed in with everything else.

Only 4 right for me - and I guessed on some. I don't have a housekeeper, or a masseuse, or a handyman, or a super, LOL. I rarely go to the hairdresser - maybe 2 or 3 times a year and I always leave her a 20% tip everytime so I don't think I need to do anything special at Christmas, especially if I'm not going there anyway. I tip 20% at restaurants and tip delivery drivers. I give a gift to my USPS driver and my kids' teachers.

I received my SS gift today and it is great. I got a fragrance oil tealite warmer from BBW along with a Gardenia oil. I have it burning right now in the kitchen and I love the smell. Thanks so much!!!

I wish the Worlds of Fun theme park here in Kansas City would have a cheaper pass. They are WAY more expensive - especially that with the St. Louis pass you get free admission to their waterpark. The 2 park pass here is over $100 and parking is an extra $30.

One of the Wal-Marts near me told me they only give 7 days for a price adjustment. You could take your receipt in and see if they will adjust for the difference you paid - I am assuming you originally bought on Wal-Mart.com? If they won't adjust the price then I would just return the first one and then rebuy for the cheaper price - or buy it for the sale price and then use the original reciept and return it. That is commonly done at places like Target where stuff goes on clearance.

I was at Wal-Mart today and they had the Webkinz back in the toys section. I noticed them in the aisle with the Fur-Real animals and Fur Berries. They probably had about 30 of them but not a huge selection. About 4 dogs, the white seal, a tiger and a cat or something like that. This is a smaller town Wal-Mart so maybe they aren't as worried about loss or more than likely because they are new to Webkinz they just don't realize the loss potential.

I can purchase a Dinosaur one for $19.88 + 5.9% tax at a local Wal-Mart. Let me know if your friend is interested in me getting one for her. I think Wal-Mart only carries the Dora, the Barbie, the Spongebob and the Dino because those are the only game I have ever seen there. I haven't checked TRU yet - I will probably get over there this weekend as long as I can get out and drive, LOL.

I had to complain to the headquarters about my local store not honoring their shelf price and they forwarded the complaint to the local Wal-Mart management. The assistant manager told me about the $3 policy - I didn't even know about it before then. It sure isn't printed anywhere that I can see - even in customer service.

Ebay - but make sure to check the feedback of the seller. I have had really good luck on Ebay buying cell phones knock on wood.
