  1. I certainly hope CC online does decide to price everything from the ad too. Now that all of the CC's are closing in my area I have to shop with them online only I think they will be missing out on a big customer base if they don't include the items online for those of us without stores now.
  2. It doesn't really matter now for a lot of places now. Not that anyone knew this way back when, but here in Kansas City we don't get the CC deals and BB knows it - they don't even have to price match
  3. Thanks! I bought this at Target with the $5 coupon but it still cost me $34.99 I think or maybe $29.99 but either way I am saving money this way. I can take the Target one back!
  4. I have never had any problem price matching if I have the ad - our ads don't usually give a model number either. I mostly price match movies, toys, games, etc which wouldn't have model numbers. I did price match an mp3 last year - again with no problems except that they wouldn't check me out until when the Best Buy sale would start.
  5. Thanks! I am getting my grandma the Rachael Ray magazine subscription for Christmas so this works out perfectly!
  6. Thanks!! I didn't check Wal-Mart just Best Buy. I will have to keep my eye out and run over there to get one. I am so excited!!! I think it is more for me even though I told my dh I was buying for the kids, LOL. I am ready to drum now.
  7. Most mail vehicles are made to drive from the passenger side - aka the right side of the vehicle because that is where the mail boxes are located. If it is not a standard mail vehicle then she probably has had it modified to drive from that side. My mailman has come back a couple of time - I am thankful that he does that instead of just deciding to leave it for another day :)
  8. I would think so but you should probably ask at CS in a roundabout way. Go in Wednesday and go to CS and say "I know you are having a lot of sales coming up. If by chance an item I buy today goes on sale tomorrow or Friday will you do a price adjustment?" :)
  9. Thanks! I guess I am out of it - I didn't realize it was a super HOT item but then again I guess I should have figured - Wii people are nuts :)
  10. I am interested in buying the band kit version of the GH World Tour but I can't seem to find it in stock anywhere. Is there a tracker anywhere like with the Wii Fit? I would like to get one before Christmas - it has been released hasn't it? Thanks!
  11. We take my minivan. It's just me and my mom and so far we have always had plenty of space for our purchases. 2 years ago my tranny went out on my minivan right after we left the drive through at Chick Fil-A (we got the coupon for a free sandwhich, LOL). We managed to get across to Target to shop, LOL. After that we had to call a tow truck to come tow the van home and also my dh to come and pick me and my dd up - my mom stayed with the van. It sucked eggs because that was the end of our shopping that day
  12. I LOVE my Garmin and of course I also love that Garmin is a US based business - right here in the heartland of Olathe Kansas, LOL. Especially now I feel it is important to support our US based businesses. That being said I have a C300 I think and it does talk to me with steet names which is nice. The nuvi's are really nice too - they are thin and easier to take with you when you need to leave your car (don't leave them in view because people are breaking into cars to get the GPS units). Definitely get one that says the street names as most of the newer models do.
  13. Yay! Thanks! I orders the Viva Pinata DS game and then also made an order for the I Spy which I think my kids will like - although they will probably fight over it because it is only a 1 player :)
  14. Actually plasma's have a great picture and tend to look better than LCD's for things like sports, etc. The life of a plasma is a question - however, I think depending on what you are using the TV for it just depends. We have an LCD and a plasma and I love both - however I think our plasma has a better picture sometimes with the sports we watch. Plasma's need to be transported upright so if you plan on moving around a lot then a plasma probably isn't the TV for you. Otherwise don't discount the TV. You can often find a better deal on a plasma and they are a great tv!!
  15. Wal-Mart will match anytime as long as the ad has a price. They won't match b1g1 offers or percentages off. That is how stores are starting to get around Wal-Mart price matching because I noticed around here a lot of store are going to percentage off sales. I know Best Buy will price match most anything. You should call your store to check beforehand though. Target absolutely does not price match and I think TRU stopped price matching a couple of years ago.
  16. You click the link in the first post. That will take you to a list of warehouse locations and sales. Either input your zipcode or click your state to find a sale near you. Under the closest sale there will be a sign up tab which you click and that will take you to the registration page. You will need to register and then after that your fast pass and your $10 off $50 coupon will print.
  17. ROCK ON!!! YAY 25% Even better than 20% - I saved over $15 - yippee!!!!
  18. It is also good on prices for tv sets which is one thing I am buying my dad. He also wants an older movie that has been out for a while which I can get cheaper there. I loved the 20% off code last year because I am "frugal" (that is what I tell my dh, LOL) and even a couple of bucks is awesome to me!
  19. I guess it does depend but they have movies that my kids want cheaper than I can buy at the store - even if it is a few cents - and then I don't have to pay tax or shipping so I love the prices! Example - right now I can walk into Wal-Mart and get Journey to the Center of the Earth for $19.99 (yes I didn't buy it on the first week out for the cheaper price). After tax I would be paying $21.49. Well if I ordered it on Deep Discount I would pay $17.88. I will take a $3 savings anyday - and that is only on ONE of the movies I need :)
  20. I know last year around this time there was a 20% off code I used to order some movies. I know the prices on that site are AWESOME - and yes maybe I am being greedy but I have over $50 in my cart and I was hoping someone knew if & when they might put out another 20% off sale code. Anyone have any idea - maybe soon? TIA
  21. LOL, LOL, LOL, LOL, LOL, LOL!!!!!:lolrun:
  22. Unfortunately a lot of people don't have an option not to shop at Wal-Mart because they have effectively run lots of business out of many smaller towns. Wal-Mart has been good at lowering prices low enough to drive smaller mom and pop business right out of business. The fact that Wal-Mart employs people is great - HOWEVER let's talk about how much those people are paid, about how they get diddly for insurance, about how many are on assistance because their paychecks don't cover the rent. We can talk about Wal-Mart cutting hours of employees below full-time so that they (Wal-Mart) doesn't have to offer those employees insurance. No I wasn't one of the people complaining, however I do think it is fine if people want to. We are here for valid reasons, many of us have budgeted our $$ for Christmas and we would love to know what will be on sale on BF so that way we can gauge if a item is a better buy on sale this week versus BF. We have valid reasons for wanting the ads early - it's not about greed.
  23. If it helps I remember my own Easy Bake from when I was a kid :) I know my dd3 wants one too but I think that it is a bit too advanced for her - I am thinking about that Princess Cool Bake "Magic" oven. Since you have older girls I would think the Easy Bake would be a good choice.
  24. Not everyone is comfortable buying on Ebay anymore. There are still lots of variables when buying on Ebay and I am one of those people who has decided not to buy electronics there anymore. You have to rely on the seller to have an honest and adequate description which oftentimes they don't. You have to hope that you get an honest seller who will ship your item, you don't have a reliable recourse for returning if something is wrong. Also why use Ebay for stuff like that? I like the old Ebay where you could find that "hard to find" stuff from our youth - collectibles, etc. This is Ebay's whole problem - they don't want sellers like that anymore and that is who I like to buy from - not the bootleggers or the millions of sellers who sell the same exact items I can get at the B&M store. I will pay the tax to avoid those problems.
  25. Wal-Mart DID do some secret sales last year so that has happened before. The person who started the thread is new but rjjan who was posting has actually been a member since 2005 - not exactly a newbie even though he/she hasn't posted much. I also know that Wal-Mart did have cheap laptops on certain days last year which sold fast.
