This year was so different for me. Usually I would have started wrapping by now. I have done nothing! DH wants to start decorating a bit, so we will do that and maybe wrap next weekend.

I didn't get the Cabbage Patch that Target was offering, but got the one from WalMart. Also a few DVD's. Got a few things I didn't plan on getting which is a first for me as I usually stick to my list.

Sadly we never get one in the mail. We have to go out early Thanksgiving to pick up a newspaper, and hope a WalMart ad is in the paper. Last year we went to one of the machines to get two papers and neither had WalMart ads so I was extra happy to have found this site last year!

I had two plans all made, and then my sister and mother decide they are coming home and want to go out on BF with me! I won't be able to train my sister and retrain my mother in just a day! I am excited!

Hoping I will be in and out of WalMart in time to be in line at Target by 5:45am. The last time I went to Target first I got there maybe 20 minutes before opening and I was maybe number 70 in line. I am hoping for a different outcome this year since we have a few new stores in town. Our Target opens at 6AM that morning.

I saw that tonight. It is cute, made me feel all warm and cozy inside. Soon as I saw it I thought awww family makes a house a home.

I love fuzzy socks!! Slipper socks and my new favorite the socks from Bath and Body Works. I hope I get a GC or two for BBW so I can get a pair or two!

Oh dear!! I don't think I will get much sleep at all! I will be dreaming of BF. I will be up hitting refresh as well lol.

The parade is usually on one TV in the house. I don't sit and watch the whole parade, but I catch bits and pieces.

Well I have to say that I can be sitting at a red light and have those thoughts, but this year my mother has decided to come out on BF after taking a few years off so I worry about her. She is a tough little lady, but I still worry someone may push her etc. She pushes back! We will be at a WalMart SuperCenter and I have warned her we will have a plan, no stopping to shop lol get what is on our list and then head out. Since we can wait inside we won't have to worry about the rush to get in, just the rush to get out, but when we head to Target that might be another story.

They ask not to go over $200.00 per family. I go through my best friends church. She picks two families and we help her with one of them. I'm not sure why they set a limit. I think it might be to get more to sign on to help. And yes DH and I love to help. We even became friends with the family we helped last year. They were not supposed to know who helped, but somehow they found out, and this year they are sponsoring a family.

My mother is having a ball with my nephews lol. They are 5, almost 3, and 1. Next year she will be living with the 1 year old and his parents, and she is already talking about Christmas 2007!

I didn't see any out at my store, but I saw lots of the Cabbage Patch dolls Target is offering. I have to return an item tomorrow. Maybe I will look a little bit more. Maybe they plan to place the TV's outside of electronics? Last year is a bit fuzzy for me but it seems they had some electronic items on the endcaps outside of electronics.

I don't bake, but when my youngest aunt starts baking she can get me to do just about anything for her! She always makes extra for me to take home! I simply adore people who can bake. mmm mmm good. :holiday08

Also others have mentioned receiving WalMart ads in the mail, but I am sure most will be in the newspaper on Thanksgiving. HEHE It took me a while to figure TIA as well now I can't stop using it lol.

My mother has decided she wants to go shopping on BF. So I will really have two newbies as my mother hasn't been shopping on BF for at least four years! I sure do hope it is like riding a bike for her.

I feel that will happen to me this year. lol I really was lucky last year and picked up the Cabbage Patch doll from WalMart close to if not after 8am that morning. This year I just know I won't be so lucky. I want to pick up the Snuggle Bean Cabbage Patch for the little girl in the family I am sponsoring and one for a former co-worker that is on bedrest. I think the Snuggle Bean Cabbage Patch Dolls will sell quick, but I hope I get at least one.
