Agreed! Target is usually my last stop of the morning if I plan to go. One year I went there first due to a camara/printer duo they had and was pleased. Last year, after viewing the Toys R Us line wrapped completely around the store, we went to Target and were able to get every toy that was on my aunt's list, and the movies we couldn't find at Wal-Mart. I always look forward to Target's ad and I love MY Target store. You can tell management there knows how to hire/train. Customer service is always excellent. No matter where you shop, or for that matter the companies you deal with, customer service is always a YMMV type of thing.

I have wrapped most of the gifts I have bought this year. I still need to get stickers, name tags, and maybe ribbons and bows. Usually I will wrap Thanksgiving weekend, but this year I will be working that weekend so I figured I should get a jump on things. I am so happy that I did!

I pass by Big Lots on the way to Thanksgiving dinner with extended family. I usual stop in unless I am running late. Now if they have something really interesting I may wake up to go when they open that morning.

I am 90% done as of today. I even started wrapping gifts. I have a lot of hours to work due to the holiday season so I am getting a head start on the wrapping.

No kids, but I count clothes as gifts for my nephews and goddaughters. I set a dollar limit for each child, but I try to spend most of it on things I know they will like.

I love the fall scents as well! This is making it sooo hard to save my gift cards for BF.

Years ago when I was in my grumpy mood, QVC always did the trick in feeling me with holiday cheer! Sometimes I would just watch.

I listen all year. Just whenever the mood hits me, but during the holidays I tend to listen daily.

I wonder if they sent anything to the companies that run sites like myspace and youtube. Just a thought.

Hubby is so mad, because he calls and requests supervisors to call back and no one has called yet. I told him they are most likely making a plan of action or too busy to call. I told him to send an email requesting an interview. He hasn't decided what topic just yet. Thanks for the idea!

My mom and her best friend used to switch lists, because after a certain age I always went with her to help and it was a nice bonding experience for us. Her best friend would get my gifts and my mother would get her son's gifts. So I still had surprises and the chance to shop with my mommy! (Yes I still call her mommy.)

Well the article made me realize the following... Wal-Mart does not want or need my money, and I have no desire to spend my hard earned money with them. Reason for edit.... Just told hubby about the article, but he had heard about it from another supervisor. A memo has been sent to supervisors and managers that all gift cards, that they buy to give as incentives, will come from Target.

Last year was the first BF for my baby sister, and she complained the whole time lol, but then after we got home she was asking about the next BF! It is all she talks about most days. She will have more money to spend this year.

I have ordered groceries from them. I have a friend who was on bed rest. I ordered up can goods, cereal bars, and some of her favorite pasta microwave meals. I could not find a store in her area that would deliver. I figured this was a good way for me to get something to her before her hubby came home to take care of her. Most of the items come in units of 6 and 12.

Thank you for the information. There is an Old Navy about ten minutes away from me, and I plan to see what type of deals I can find for my nephews on BF and before!

Same thing with us. We have lived in the same general area for over 7 years, yet we have never received a Wal-Mart Ad in the mail or in the newspaper. We never shopped there on BF, because we didn't know about their sales. I mention this in my emails to them, even being told to come into the store for one after they came out. (To late for that, as I will be in the stores were I was able to see an ad and plan.) I also advised them that since finding their leaked ad online that I have shopped there on BF.

Daily email sent. Will call when the hubby gets home. He requested a call from some higher up, and he hasn't received one. I told him most likely he will not receive one.

I am after a new job, and I will be required to work Thanksgiving and the day after. Only six hours each day. I will have time to shop on BF and come home and take a nap before starting work at 1pm. I plan to be home in time to start work at 10am if I am needed. Last year was the first time I was out long on BF, and that was because I wasn't by myself. This year I will be, and only plan to go to two stores.
