  9. I agree with you Illinoismom, I believe we had this same debate last year or the year before. Please don't let it get to you, its very easy to judge when you have no clue about other or their reasons for layaway. For me, it saved me time. I put everyones presents on layaway at 1 time, didn't have to run from store to store, everything was nice and convenient in one place. Oh well, things change, nothing I say will or will not bring it back.

  12. Scapple is just as its name suggests...the SCRAPS of meat made into bricks/loaves. I live in Lancaster County PA, the heart of Amish Country and my family eats this stuff up. I personally HATE it! My parents always made it as part of our 'special' Christmas breakfast. http://www.accidentalhedonist.com/index.php/2005/02/06/fear_thy_name_is_scrapple Sorry, didn't see the the other answers to what is scrapple before I posted! My apologies!
  13. Yes I have always had a pt job as a pharmacy tech, but I have just started as an Usborne Book consultant and hope to use any extra cash I make at that straight to Christmas shopping funds. :-)
  14. Now that Labor day is over, I'm officially in Black Friday Mode!!! YAY!! The planning and mapping is some of the best parts for me!
  15. I work only 2- evenings per week Friday is not one of those, so I always have the whole day off. Dh takes a vacation day every year so that he can watch the kids.
