This year we will be decorating on Thanksgiving night as we discuss the Black Friday deals.

The plan is for me to stay home this year and hopefully shop online Thanksgiving Day and Black Friday.

I have been thinking about Black Friday for a few weeks now. I didn't get to do much last year due to illness and I hope to get out there this year.

I agree. I have major issues with planning. I have a need to plan for things in advance. Usually by the time October hits I only need or want a few things because I tend to look for deals all year, thanks to Gottadeal. The remaining items on my list can be found at Target, Khols, and Best Buy and thanks to those ads dropping I fulfilled my horrible need to plan. Any lower prices offered from wal-mart I will simply mark as sweat equity savings on my part by not adding another store (wal-mart) to my plans. While wal-mart has a right to do what is thought to be best for wal-mart business, I as a consumer have the right to do what I think is best for my time and money.

Same for me, I really want one but don't have the extra funds to justify spending on myself this year.

I haven't seen this thread started for 2009 and I know there was talk of starting, so I thought I would get the ball rolling. What is your favorite quote from a holiday movie or commercial? Oh I hope so! While Best Buy isn't a first stop for us, there are usually deals on items that are still to be had around 8AM.

I am the same way, feeling like I am a kid waiting for Santa! Usually I never get any sleep until I come home from shopping on BF. I have never been to Kohls on BF, maybe this year.

A laptop for $700.00 or less. I would love a laptop that can run some of the higher end PC games. (Like WOW and The Sims 2) I know I might be dreaming on that one. I haven't put in the time to research and I know I should.

Usually I go alone, but sometimes family would tag along. This year I am going with my sister and mother. The last time we went shopping on BF was pretty fun. It was my sister's first time out on BF and we all had a blast. My sister complained a bit, but later she admitted she had fun.

I have to say Amazon received most of my shopping dollars this year.

Thanks to Gottadeal my Christmas shopping was complete prior to BF. However I just couldn't bring myself to stay home. I left home just in time for 6AM opening at Bath and Body Works, but appears they had been opened a little while. There were two small lines. I got what I wanted and waited in line. Only four others in front of me, but my cashier had to keep helping the other cashier. Everyone was nice and patient. I was able to use my 10 off 30 coupon and get the free gift. After using my gift card from mypoints, I ended up paying tax only. I passed by a few other stores, tried my CVS which was closed. I lost my BF rush and went home to nap before work. Now just waiting to stock up on the after Christmas sales.

I have never received the ad. I have mentioned it to customer service a few times with nothing more than a you can pick one up in the store response.

If I find any specials I will let you know. I am looking for a few deals myself.

I have to keep myself from wanting to go out and take pictures. I will be out but not leaving the house until a little before 6AM to head to Bath and Body Works.

I have been able to save an amazing amount of money since finding GottaDeal. This year it really came in handy! I will be out tomorrow only because I need some kind of BF rush lol, but I am only going to Bath and Body Works to use the gift cards I earned from mypoints.

I won't be shopping at Wal-Mart this year, but last year the one I went to had all lines open and the cashiers were great.
