  1. try this list: http://www.outletbound.com/cgi-bin/stores_by_name.cgi?StoreName=Dooney%20&%20Bourke it may not be comprehensive though. look up your closest outlet center and see if they have a D&B store.
  2. they charged you 109.98 for the computer, and 189.99 for the monitor. total is 299.97. add up the rest of your receipt to make sure its right, but it looks ok from just those two items.
  3. it's a good deal for what it is - a cheap basic camera. you won't get any great pictures from it, but if you just want a barebones camera, that's what it is. same goes for any kodak camera out there. don't count on it lasting forever. however, if you have a little more to spend, and it's recommended, look at a canon a560. it may be more, but the picture quality is roughly... a million times better. it's been discussed in depth in this thread. i have an old canon s500, and it still ticks along great to this day. i think i've had it for over 2 years now, close to 3, yeesh. even though it only has a tiny 1" screen, it still takes great pictures.
  4. looks like a no go... *Exclusions: Valid through 12/31/2007. This offer is good for one use only and applies to total qualifying purchase on a single sales receipt. Not Valid on previous purchases. http://ww2.aaa.com/scripts/WebObjects.dll/AAAOnline?page=AAACircuitCity&association=aaa&club=4&zip=90025
  5. in the past we've tried to offer sweatshirts for sale but there was never enough demand to justify the costs. we will usually have a t-shirt available, please check the "discuss gottadeal" forum.
  6. i saw this at michael's and went "WHOA INGENIOUS!" no room for it though right now... my arts and crafts dream room (sewing machine, knitting/crochet corner, scrapbooking table) will have to wait until we have more room and we're married.
  7. wow that's a nice line of tents going on there! no pics of the porta potty?!
  8. the only difference i know of is that the new ones that are being shipped to stores come with a silicone jacket for the wii remote. the older version did not come with it, however you can request one for free from the nintendo website.
  9. i like thread tagging and the image viewing lightbox for attached images.
  10. you can buy used ones at gamestop
  11. pick up some people movement skills at fry's. they usually have 30 registers open, all in one line. on super crazy days, they'll open the secondary set of registers, and they could have anywhere from 50-70 registers open. they have ONE person standing at the front of the line, telling you which register to go to. further, the register will notify you that they are open by pressing a button to turn on a green light. when i worked at fry's way back when (meaning before the commission cashier days) i would always volunteer to be the "vanna."
  12. actually this is more efficient instead of everyone jumping around from line to line. if they have SEVERAL registers open, then it should keep moving.
  13. that is the same discount that employees gets. i will tell you from experience TVs have a pretty large markup. when i worked at circuit city in college, (our discount was cost, no additional markup) i got my parents one of those rear projection large sony whatevers for half off. then they also got a sony wega for half off, and the stand for 75% off. see if you can find out what the price would be, and if that would be worth it.
  14. it is mostly likely a dead pixel. as for the twitch, see what the max refresh rate on the monitor is and change the settings upwards. however, your video card needs to be able to handle it too, so if your computer crashes or won't show a picture, you'll have to reboot into safe mode (believe me... had this happen to me way too many times.) i don't know if BB let's you return for one dead pixel, but you can surely try. they might not have any left for your to exchange though.
  15. that's funny, because i used to be western digital only and i had 2 200gb ones fail on me - seagate only from now on!
  16. it's available only in stores, so i doubt you'll be able to order over the phone. http://www.circuitcity.com/ssm/Element-19-LCD-HDTV-FLX-1910/sem/rpsm/oid/175558/catOid/-12867/rpem/ccd/productDetail.do
  17. no. if it's out of stock then BB won't price match it.
  18. i got BB and CC, 2 kohls but no michaels!
  19. southern california: http://latimes.p2ionline.com/shoppingchannel/rop click on "Retail Goods" on the left, and then on "fry's electronics." of note for both ads: compaq intel celeron M for 298.99 for 1gb of RAM, compared to the one at BB which has 512mb (which is a moot point if you're just going to yank out the ram and upgrade, but for those who don't want to...)
  20. fry's northern california ad: http://newspaperads.mercurynews.com/ROP/ads.aspx?adid=5387875&advid=32664&type= http://newspaperads.mercurynews.com/ROP/ads.aspx?adid=5387876&advid=32664&type= http://newspaperads.mercurynews.com/ROP/ads.aspx?adid=5387878&advid=32664&type= of note, samsung 32" LCD TV (but it's 720p, shouldn't be a prob with the size) for only 449. too bad i can't buy it. and the fact i'm not in line either.
  21. it was a bonus doorbuster posted only on the best buy site.
  22. please note that outpost.com and the actual fry's stores may not have the exact same items or prices - their website is independent of the store (most of the time.)
  23. closing thread as per request!
  24. it is not in the ad. it was posted as a bonus deal on the BB website: http://www.bestbuy.com/thanksgiving2jt
