coach has a new bag i saw in people this week for one grand... not sure if that's what you were thinking of, but that's the current it bag. what is your budget? if you want something "hot and in" you can't get it at the coach outlet since that's past season and overstock merchandise.

think of it as a big portable closet. if you have family movies or pictures you want to share, load it on the external HD, go to someone's house, plug it in, and boom. it's helpful for those who have laptops which come with semi limited HD space.. or for those who want mobile HD space or don't want to open up their computers to drop another HD in.

as brad said in the original post, we will probably not have scans up because of past legal issues with OD in the past.

it's an outdoor shopping mall with a lot of high end stores. they completely remodeled themselves - before it was just a generic shopping mall, and then they brought in all the big name, high end stores - louis vuitton, MNG, Thomas Pink, etc. game stop seems totally out of place there, and hidden from the rest of the mall near see's candies. there are no stores like KB, and i think the only children clothing store is limited too. i see more people with their dogs here... it's not a mall where you go looking for toys for your children. most of the clientele from this mall on weekdays is from the local law firms/investment firms/talent agencies nearby, and then the remainder... already bought their wii for their kids or morally object to video games.

*** Official *CIRCUIT CITY* What Time To Get In Line Thread ***
freesia39 replied to DramaQueenLucy's topic in 2007
the one on la cienega is NOT in beverly hills. it is SOUTH of pico i believe, and everything nice about beverly hills definitely is above pico. plus if it REALLY was in beverly hills, they'd kick you off of the sidewalks, because there is a no camping out rule in beverly hills. believe me - we know people who have tried to line up in front of niketown over night for jordans and the police told them to move. culver city, you might be running into the office depot line, but at least the OD line won't start as early. santa monica, you'll be on the street with the bums. there are some freaky ones in front of that one. i've never been to the one in van nuys so i have no idea how their store is situated. i think they will all have a crowd though. if you want that laptop, you'll probably have to give up a good portion of your thursday to wait in line. drag the 17 year old with you. no, they won't have the same number of items. however the santa monica one is larger than the culver city one (and nicer and newer to boot.) problema number 2 with santa monica - you should get someone to drop you off. you're going to have a hard time parking because of the mandatory street sweepings every night i think? and the parking garage closes? unless you can park at an open air lot all night and you just pay the parking fees/overnight fees. -
possible problem 1: is that a doorbuster/limited hours item? BB's customer service desk might not be open during those hours probable answer: if it is not local, they won't PM.

well the SD1000 is intriguing and OD is the only office store near my parents house. hmm. but i don't want the printer.

allright, i picked up a wii this evening at gamestop. today i just started calling all the gamestops in this area, and the one i got it at today said to check back after 1pm to see if they got any in today's shipment. i lucked out methinks because the mall this game stop is located is not children friendly!! we bought one over the summer at gamestop, and the one we picked up today is for the fiance's little sister. yay gamestop! each gamestop i called today was nice about telling me when their next shipments were expected and what time to call.

the basicness of diamonds: WITH THE NAKED EYE, many of the flaws that drive down the price of diamonds will not be seen. for example, my engagement ring is an SI1 bordering an SI2. (the jewelry store sold it as an SI 1, my appraiser said it was an SI2 but it was borderline.) if i stare at it dead on, i can't see any of the flaws, but during the appraisal process they magnified it for me and i could see all the little flecks in it. i looked at a ring at walmart once for fun once and i saw a big black dot in the middle of it - BAD! as long as you can't see it with the naked eye, you are good. this is CLARITY. CUT: these are the cuts of the diamond. the most expensive but exquisite is the round cut. another popular cut is a princess cut, which looks like a square. you definitely want to find out which she prefers. i told my fiance flat out i only wanted a round cut, because i don't like any of the other cuts and they look strange on my hand. COLOR: diamonds are given a color rating from D to Z. you want to avoid Z. D will be the most expensive because that means the diamond is colorless (and is nice and shiny... really.) however, a G or an H is pretty nice also. you should go in person to a jewelry store and see if they have any stones you can look at. mall stores like zales or kay or jared might not have loose diamonds available. the further towards Z you go, the more yellow the diamond will be. CARAT: another important thing to consider and a place many people start. i will tell you my ring is .75 carats. i have tried on a one carat ring and frankly, it was too large. i have very small hands and it was too much on me. (added bonus: because of my small hands, it makes my ring look bigger.) (i also tried on a 3 carat ring, WOOEE. hugeeeee. but the diamond was SO gross - completely yellow, cloudy and spotted.) my ring size is only 4.5, so as you can imagine, anything too large will seem out of place. this is also where her tastes will come into play, and also think, "does she work with her hands?" you don't want a large diamond on a setting that can easily snag. my personal preference is diamond quality over size. i knew someone with a 20 carat engagement ring. (i'm not kidding, that thing was a skating rink.) it just looked GAUDY. i had another friend with a larger diamond and she thought it was too heavy - it kept sliding around all day and bothered her. or you can do what my fiance did, and try to trick me into telling him if this diamond would be acceptable or not, by saying he was helping his friend pick out a ring for his long time girlfriend. a great place to buy diamonds is bluenile.com. they have great prices and they are very trustworthy with their diamonds. even my appraiser said they had great diamonds. oh, and after you guys get engaged, do consider getting the ring appraised. for one, if you don't go to a huge jewelry chain, you will know if the diamond is real or not. plus you get documentation about the ring and it's qualities and approximate replacement value, which is what i needed to add the ring to my renter's insurance policy. i did feel relieved once i added it to my insurance policy because in case i lose it or the diamond pops off and i can't find it, i can put a claim into my insurance. the crappy part is that they're charging me an extra 200 a year for that insurance!
-
you know i just told the fiance that i didn't think prices would be slashed and he tried to argue with me that they would. I WIN! BWHAHAHA.
-
that is the MSRP. the prices you have been seen are probably bundled with games/controllers/etc.

carrie's i believe will be on sale on black friday at target. if you KNOW you want to buy that CD, buy it the FIRST week it is released - it will be the cheapest that week.

Wii Games: Which Ones? How Much? WHERE?!
freesia39 replied to StickyKeys's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
we have: - wii play (good for the extra controller mostly, but we spent a LOT of time playing pool.) - carnival games (another good bunch of people game. i wish though they let you win the toys in competition mode) - mario & sonic at the olympic games. LOVE this game - i can only play video games for about an hour max a day before i go crazy, so we play one quick circuit for about 15 mins at night. running is fun, the field events are sooo much fun, and the mario/sonic characters are REALLY cute. i would consider super mario galaxy if you have patience. i remember playing "super mario world" as a kid and it took us forever.
