    so i went by best buy last night (the eve before thanksgiving) and there was already 5 people in line with tents chairs even bbq's... just went buy a few hours ago... (about noon on turkey day) and theres 21 people in line... jesus christ i wanted that laptop... last year there wasn't nobody in line until 6pm... this sucks! ohh and i live in merced california... about 75,00 people
  2. I had my mind set on the PC. I've been needing a new computer for a while... i have an 3 year old emachines and ever since i upgraded to vista it can't play videos that well. I'm not a gamer at all, i just need a computer for my media and the web... i have over 100gigs of movies and music. But a 229 Laptop is hard to pass on... is the 199$ pc good for media? will it be able to handle my media with no problem? or would i be beter off with the laptop
  3. I went ahead and purchased the Element 42" at circuit city... 2 days later the Sony 37" Bravia H-Series LCD Rear Projection HDTV went down to 799... and it does 1080P... any advice? should i try to return my element for the sony? the sony seems much better...
  4. My local best buy has this tv for the low price of 800. But i tried to do some research and it says this tv has been discontinued....it got great reviews thought... any advice? or anybody know why it may have been discontinued? also does that mean if i buy it there will be no warranty?
  5. im interested in this one at CC the elements 42" plasma lcd Model #: ELE PLX4202B ... can anyone tell me anything about this? i couldnt find any reviews on it... is element a good brand? and ive hardly ever heard of flatscreen moutable plasmas before... but its loaded with the inputs i need
  6. okay... you get what you pay for? what would be a good choice in my price range? insignia or dynex? westinghouse? i just figured the bigger the better?... but with the 32" dynex thats going to be on sale it doesnt say 720P or nothing... the 37" specifically says 720P in the listings.. what does that mean? that the 37" just does that and the 32" does the rest or what? thanks for the help

I'm getting a ps3 this black friday... and i want a full 1080p hdtv... i was eyeing the 37" dynex hdtv best buy is having... i have a credit card for 1000 also... plus 200 more... so ill have about 750 to spend on a tv... but then i found out that the 37" is only 720P... however the 32" dynex is on sale also... and all is says is hd... does that mean its full HD and it does 1080p also? i couldnt find this on the BB site... any suggestions on a good FUll HDTV this year? i want a bigger one... the smallest i'd like is 32"... thanks for whoever helps me out
