  1. try the post office and see if they have the moving kit. it may have the coupons in there - i don't remember though if it's for lowes or home depot.
  2. for my southern california brethren: ralphs allows you to load coupons onto your card also through the website: http://www.ralphs.com (ralphs is kroger in southern california and very limited stores in northern california)
  3. Special offers • Free: $10 gift card with purchase it's below the pictures from the game
  4. the mikasa outlet is closed in the US. i'm not sure who still carries them.. their website is still alive, or you can try amazon.
  5. i don't think combo DVD/VCR players last long in general. i know i had one that died and i had to operate on it when it ATE MY DVD!
  6. ask at the customer service desk - they might have extras
  7. verizon disables EVERYTHING on their phones so you'd have to pay for their services. myxtertones is the easiest place to have the ringtone created for you and sent to your phone via text message. the other way around it for verizon is to create the file yourself and email it to your phone, but that's not easy.
  8. i've heard of the costco gift card as a way around the membership requirement. but if you spend more than the gift card they may make you buy the membership. i've never done it though.
  9. canon A570 - 147.13 http://www.amazon.com/Canon-PowerShot-A570IS-Digital-Stabilized/dp/B000NK3H4S/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1200327651&sr=8-1 i just like canons in general. the a570 is a little bulkier, and the sd1000 is definitely more pocketsized/compact. depends on what you prefer. Canon SD1000 - 172.99 http://www.amazon.com/Canon-PowerShot-SD1000-Digital-Optical/dp/B000NK8EWI/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1200327668&sr=1-1
  10. if you want to buy it for christmas, you may be able to wait until august - the supply might actually have caught up by then. plus some of the games may have come down in price by then.
  11. try sears or your local sporting goods store. i think my parents got theirs at sportmart, and it was definitely under $1000, maybe even closer to $500
  12. YOU CAN USE THE COUPONS?! ok now i have to check. they rebuilt my local BBB into a three story megastore, and i need a need casserole pan and a tea kettle.
  13. really, you don't need the sports package, especially if they don't have a lot of room to move around in. the wiimote already does a great job. if you wanted to teach your kids how to REALLY play tennis, then maybe consider it. the wiimote doesn't do a great job of mimicking all the nuances of tennis, but the swinging at least is fun.
  14. you just say you're sharing it. they don't really care it seems. my brother and my mom split a membership.
  15. you always get coupons in the mail from costco. i just got one for the month of january, plus one that goes through march. if you buy in bulk, it could be worth it for you. i just like having the membership to get water when i have a chance to go there. it's 10 miles a away, but a huge PITA to get there and park.
  16. please read the forum rules regarding the sale of items: http://forums.gottadeal.com/showthread.php?t=53669 this applies to everyone. we'll keep the thread open as long as it applies to the discussion of where to find a good deal for the pony, but please do not discuss the private resale of the item.
  17. i was 25 the first time i met a butterscotch and that thing scared the living daylights out of me. it's too... lifelike!!
  18. what do you want to do? gimp is free and does photo manipulation, retouching. nothing over the top but along the lines of elements. gimp features
  19. i know you said online, but you should really try the department stores on the weekend, cruising their clearance racks. you should find a decent deal there.
  20. do you have one of their regional plans? you should really get one their america's choice plans if you move around the state a lot. or... just in general. my america's choice has no roaming or long distance charges but as long as you stay on the network. you really have to be in the middle of nowhere to be roaming, and i think i set my phone to not let me make any calls if i'm roaming, because i am NOT paying that charge unless i absolutely have to. anyways, what you get is the verizon network. you get what you pay for. my brother and sister just switched to the sprint sero plan. my brother got a moto q, my sister got a LG rumor. my sister is a notorious texter/IMer/random online access user, so she needed the plan pretty bad, and couldn't get another sidekick that she liked from t-mobile.
  21. when macy's bought some of the robinson may stores out here and started consolidating, the things that were usually exempt were all cosmetics and fragrances, and designer bags. they can just transfer them to other stores. if it's already reduced, you might have a shot.
  22. i like going after 7pm. they usually stay open late on saturdays. if it's picked over, that's fine, because i certainly was not going to fight the masses on saturday. or i could go really late on friday nite.
  23. alltell should give you a better deal if you threaten to cancel. call and see what happens. otherwise, porting your phone number to another carrier should be easy. i've been with verizon for years now, and i'm not leaving, even if i do pay more than most people.
  24. dell outlet: http://www.dell.com/content/segmenter.aspx?c=us&l=en&s=dfo
