with that low price... you should line up if you want one. and early...

in the ad it states: free wireless controller and 5 blu-ray dvds. the blu-rays you have to redeem by mail. the system already comes with one controller, so you will leave the store with 2.

actually casio's aren't that bad. my parents had one before (before my sister destroyed it by dropping it on the beach several times and managed to get the lens thingy to only close halfway) and it did take some nice pictures. my parents were only considering size when they bought it, but it did the job well.

see if you can catch the canon sd1000 on sale - i've seen it dropping in price lately. it was on sale at gateway for 152.99 last week, but i'm not sure if it's still on sale. i saw it at best buy for 180 the other day.

i don't think i've ever seen a camcorder come with a light. if it did... it'd be pretty huge. i don't think mine does (i have a miniDV but i never use it...) i don't think they're getting good reviews at cnet because they're low end camera, and it shows in what the camera offers and what features they have that are just subpar. but if the price point is important to you, then you just need to decide which is more important to you - if you want the video to be burned to DVD as you record, or to the mini dv tapes.

some larger cities we have people saying they're getting in line at 10am.

no, the f&f is not good instore. if it was, i would have run out and bought the bare escentuals starter kit by now...

i don't recommend kodak's because they are not quality cameras compared to a canon. if you can afford a few extra dollars, the canon a560 is worth it. better functionality, better lenses, better pictures overall.
