Like i said, it's not a big deal to anybody else, but it's the only item in the world I'm interested in this shopping season - there it is, for what? almost $15 less? I'm happy. I don't care if there's a top of the line super laptop with all the latest gadgets on it for 95% off (which would ultimately be a better to deal to alot of folks) somewhere... I've got a 4 year old to make happy, and that pony toy can do it.

It's probably not a big deal to anybody else, but the my little pony teapot for $19 is a huge price drop for me. Then again, I'm not going after electronics like most people seem to be.

Welll then, somebody needs to tell the CSMs in Paintsville Kentucky, because my post is how they do it here. Of course, not all walmarts do it the same. That we've learned multiple times over, haven't we?

Oh man... I don't think I can hack the line at KB Toys. My daughter's begging Santa for the Ponyville Teapot though, and that price can't be passed up. I'm gonna have to call around and find out who can/will price match.

I don't plan on buying one, but they do seem a bit on the popular side for everybody else.

Geez louise what a mess. There's no way I can sit here waiting for a "deal" to pop up on their website, drive an hour to walmart, get it, drive an hour back home, wait for the next deal, and drive an hour back. Timewise it isn't worth it, nevermind the $3.09 a gallon gas price right now.

Manufacturers are to blame for recalls, not retailers. Toys R Us and Walmart were not the only retailers who sold the affected toys. Mattel/Fisher Price should've tested the toys before the landed on the shelves, not the retailers.

I'll say the Sears ad and the Office Max ones seemed fairly impressive. Granted, I'm really on the hunt for toys and neither had them, but there were some decent deals on other things in there.

Too bad there's no walgreens here. Some of those are pretty decent!

Walmart has had them stacked to the rafters, even the boys, for $24 with bonuses.

There's a 15 day with receipt return policy on electronics. As for other merchandise, you can return without a receipt but you must provide photo ID, as you can only do it twice a year. Returns without a receipt is an automatic gift card. If you return with a receipt within 30 days, then you can opt for either a gift card or cash. If you return within 90 days with a receipt, then your refund is a gift card for the amount.

I've already got the budget sliced and diced for maximum dollar stretchage, and I've been working on the babysitter situation for that all important day, as well.

Okay...so I pay for digital cable, and have a set top box. I'd like a DVR for Christmas, but if I get one with an ASTC tuner, will that mess up my set top box?

For the not so technologically inclined, can someone tell me what a ATSC digital-tuner DVD recorder actually is? I mean, I know what a DVD Recorder is, and I'm hoping Santa thinks I've been really good this year lol but I don't know what the ATSC digital tuner stuff is about?

Hide the loot, whip out the christmas DVDs, have some turkey sandwhiches, and put up the tree & other christmas decorations!

My oldest daughter is petrified of men with beards, so we avoid Santa for her (and our own) sanity.
