  1. Not everybody has a target to shop at. The closest one to me is well over 2 hours away in West Virginia (I'm in Kentucky) ... Any 'deals' I might get there would be wasted by the cost of gas it would take to get here and back.
  2. That's how I lucked out on getting one of last year's red jeeps. I think it was March of this year when we saw it marked down on clearance, and picked it up. Our local walmart had stacks on top of stacks of doorbuster and BF sale items that hadn't moved all day (I was there around 8:30 last night) still for the door buster price. They'll keep them out on the shelves until they get rid of them, slowly knocking the prices down even more.
  3. We went to our walmart last night around 8:30, and I was surprised. They had leftover stock to the ceilings.I had wanted one of the $30 vsmiles for my daughter, and had ordered one from walmart.com only to have an extra $7 shipping tacked on to it. When I saw 30 of them on a shelf at my local walmart, I picked one up, and just cancelled my online order when I got home.
  4. I did. Walmart's printed Ad listed the My little pony castles as being $49.93 and available both instore and on walmart.com ... They were available on walmart.com, but our store had them for $53.88 instead of $49.93
  5. Nothing! I started my BF shopping at 4:30, and was back in my warm comfy bed by 4:45, and got everything I wanted in between
  6. I got the Vsmile and a DVD online at 4:30 this morning. It was a little slow during the checkout, but not bad. Then around 10:30 I saw the little people sets and went to order one and haven't been able to get it through the checkout. I can't even get it to log in without crashing.
  7. I got mine online at 4:30 this morning
  8. Wow am I glad I got on when I did then... I had my alarm set for 5:00 but I ended up waking up at 4:30 anyway..so I figured I'd go ahead and check. They did charge $6.97 to ship the vsmile *sigh* but I figured it was still a better deal, since it would've costed $15 or more in gas to get to a walmart this morning.
  9. Got the vsmile at 4:30 this morning, I'm good now. That was easy enough.
  10. Our walmart had the my little pony castles with the 3 bonus ponies & wand stacked up right beside the door. On BF they're supposed to be $49 but there was a sticker on these that said $54 :dunno: I hadn't planned on picking one up, so I didn't have my money with me or I would've tried to've purchased it.
  11. I can see a laptop being one of the deals, but I highly doubt Elmo will be. He's in too much demand as it is for them to knock the price down any more. The idea behind Black Friday is to put items out there at low prices to draw people into the store. Elmo at regular price is going to draw masses of people in. A PS3 at regular price is going to draw masses of people in. So those aren't going to be knocked down to some amazingly low price unnecessarily.
  12. Whew. I breathe a sigh of relief everytime I see a thread like this and that blasted Pony castle isn't mentioned. lol It's not a door buster, though. SO hopefully they have plenty of them stocked. I think the cabbage patch babies will be gone before you can blink an eye, though.
  13. My #1 item is the My Little Pony Crystal Rainbow Castle. I was thrilled to see that Walmart's going to have it for $49.99, with 3 bonus ponies and a wand. My #2 item is the Durabrand Home Theater system. I was disappointed that it was everyday price in the ad, though. Hopefully it'll be something that walmart decides to butcher the price on at the last minute, though.
  14. I'm hoping to replace my DD's television in her room. It's 19 or 20 inch (I'm not sure which) and it's dated back to Noah's Ark. The power button fell off and I gotta stick a crayon back in there to turn it on. When it comes on it then has to "warm up" and the picture is snowy for a good 10-20 minutes before it actually comes on. Its definately bit the dust. I'd also like to replace my digital camera. It's a 4.0mp easyshare with 3x zoom. I love it, but I'd like to have something with more zoom & couple more megapixels, so I'm leaning toward the easyshare from Best Buy if I can get up enough money for it.
  15. I got my daughter the jeep last year (only I got it on clearance a couple months after black friday) ... She's taller, as well, but isn't having any problems with her legs being too long for the car. It is a 6 volt battery. I don't know if the dora VW will be similar to that or not, though.
  16. I'm curious what TIME the online deals will be available? I mean, it's gonna be 5 a.m. somewhere, but 5 a.m. in California is 8 a.m. here in Kentucky! Or will the online stuff be available at midnight? And if so - midnight for which time zone?
  17. It'll take about 45 minutes (one way) to get Walmart. K-mart is next to walmart. And Radio Shack and Lowes are across the street from them. Then it's 45 minutes back home, and then 90 minutes from home to the city where we can hit KB Toys (There's an Office Max there as well, but I don't need anything from them). Then it's 1.5 into West Virginia from there to get to a Best Buy, Target, and/or Toys R Us. 2 more hours just to get back home. Gotta love country living!
  18. Best Buy's $189 Easyshare.. I just wish I knew for sure if it was 7.1 or 6.1 megapixel...seems to be some confusion on that part. The Jumbo Doodlebears for $10 isn't too bad, either.
  19. Scroll down to the very bottom of the first page and it says "Look for our 24-Page Holiday Circular with Week Long Savings"
  20. I could be really wrong, but it looks like this is just the doorbusters? The first page of the scan says to look for the complete 24 page ad. But there's only 8 pages.

I hope everybody in my store runs for the $1.88 dvd players and leave sthe toy section alone.

    $199 laptop???

The thought of the line outside of walmart on Black Friday of people wanting a laptop for $199 absolutely scares the bananas out of me.
  23. It's frustrating that they won't price match each other, they won't price match the website either. On Sunday, after calling around trying to track down one of those elusive little laptops to no avail, my father-in-law decided he would settle for one of the e-machines that walmart has instead. On the website, the computer was $348. In our local store (which is still 30 miles from here) it was $398. At another walmart 90 miles from here, it was $348 but sold out. And at yet another one some 50+ miles from here it was $348, and available. Our "local" walmart refused to price match either of the other walmarts or the website. My father in law was less than impressed to say the least, and we ended up driving to the one some 50-odd miles away for the computer priced at $348.
  24. I've just called 7 different walmarts within a 100 mile of here, all are sold out (It's not even 1 yet) of the laptops. The last one I called I asked how many their store had gotten, and she said 30. But they were all sold out in 10 minutes.
