My dog and cat will each have a stocking full of goodies and a present under the tree. My dog eats table scraps, dry dog food, and canned alpo, so there isn't really anything special to give him on the holidays other than our good food. My kitty is the same way, she doesn't seem to like the canned kitty food all that much, she only licks the gravy and walks away so we let her like the dog's gravy.

I had this exact same problem. Aero claims they have refunded google for my account on 11/29, I'm still waiting for google to give me my refund, it's been nearly 3 weeks. I eventually had to call Aero's 800# to get atleast this far.

All of the children's presents will go out on Christmas Eve. It used to be so much easier when they were younger because they would be so tired from the holiday gathering at my family's house on Christmas Eve and then come home and flop into bed, quickly falling asleep. It's reversed now though, I want to flop into bed when I get home and they're wide awake.

I'm done. I'm going to bake on Sunday, but I'm definitely ready for Christmas. I do want a change in the weather next week though. We've had unusually warmer temperatures and if it keeps up there isn't a possibility of a white christmas. I've got sweaters for all the holiday parties all picked out, I can't wear sweaters when it's 60 degrees outside so if someone could change the weather for me just for the week of Christmas I'd really appreciate it, otherwise yes, I'm antsy. (and trying really hard to not shop anymore because my kids are even )

Yes I looked into using the google checkout for our business, however you will only receive zero percent processing for an amount based on your advertising dollars. For every $1 you spend on advertising, you get $10 processed for free. At the point when you process above your "free" amount earned you pay 2% plus .20 a transaction - these rates aren't that great. With the "free" processing, it's more like you are paying 10%, then as a bonus you get advertising. Either way, IMHO, it's a bit much.

I've used it 3 times. Twice without a problem and once with a problem through Aeropostale. I placed an order on Black Friday, they cancelled part of my order - one hoodie, so I emailed them through google checkout and told them to cancel the whole order which was just another shirt. I didn't want to lose the google checkout discount for being below the right amount and I didn't want to pay $6 shipping for one shirt. Well I received a form letter back from Aeropostale stating that if I wanted to contact them I'd have to go through their lines of communication and not google. Needless to say the order did not cancelled, they shipped my one shirt but charged the full amount for the entire order, including the hoodie they cancelled. I've called and emailed Aeropostale they say that they've issued google checkout a refund and that google checkout should be issuing me a refund, I still haven't seen it. I also complained about the way they handled the whole google checkout complaint thing and so they said they were working on the problem and offered me free shipping on my next order. I really just want my refund at this point for their overcharge. I'm still waiting though.

I'm feeling like I went a little overboard this year. I'm finished with all of the Christmas shopping and wrapping will be done with the next UPS delivery. Each child will have 14 gifts plus stocking stuffers. I thought that was a bit much so I started looking at the list that I kept but couldn't find a way to narrow it down any. Some are clothes that they need, others are things for their rooms since we will be remodeling those next year, then they each got an ipod, and then some miscellaneous "fun" stuff like board games, books, magic tricks, and cologne / perfume. I just feel guilty because I know that there are a lot of people out there who won't have anything to open on Christmas morning. We've donated new toys to the Salvation Army this year, and our church, gloves and socks and canned goods for those types of drives, but I still feel a little guilty for over indulging. Does anyone else ever feel bad about buying so much?

I'm usually pretty good about making # of presents equal and somehow $ comes out fair. They usually get one big (expensive) present and then smaller ones. But now I'm stuck because I bought the fly pen which throws everything off. I know it was a bargain but once I've added a case and extra paper and some software I'm back up to a second big present for my daughter. So now I have to get a second big present for my son. It doesn't have to cost the same amount but my kids know how much things are - even if I did find a bargain I still need to find another bargain on a big item. I've got less than 3 weeks. Frustration I tell ya. Our kids have no idea do they? Don't get me wrong mine are appreciative, I just like the looks on their faces. Good Quotes!
