  1. In Cincinnati you can buy the "Post" on Saturday with the ads, otherwise you have to wait until Sunday for the "Enquirer". CVS puts thier ads out in the store on Saturdays.
  2. I finally got a confirmation for one at CompUSA and one from Buy.com.
  3. My Meijers in Cincinnati Ohio has always doubled coupons up to $1. A .25 would be .50, and a .75 would be just to $1. This past Saturday, with the 50% off clearance clothing I bought several Cincinnati Bengal NFL T-shirts for $3.25 and sweatshirts for $5. I also got boys fleece lined jeans for $6 a pair. With the 15% off general merchandise and two $10 coupons from week before's special (by $50 get $10 off next purchase) I got the elpitcial fitness exceriser for $175 (reg $299 on clearance for $229).
  4. Grocery Clearance here is usually back by the milk and picked over pretty good. Our Meijer here in Cincinnati has been having specials like buy $50 worth of merchandise and get $10 off your next week's purchases. Has had them the last two weeks. I split my grocery order the last two weeks so I could get two $10 off store coupons. Been using them to buy toy clearance items for Bday gifts. Found some match box stuff on clearance last week - so got two items for free. Our Meijer's is much cheaper on most items than our new Super Walmart just down the road. Another tip, if your Meijer prints those coupons out for so much off gas and they don't have a gas station at your store, they will let you use them as cash but only for the amount usually like .50. But they have a longer expiration date than the $10 off $50.
  5. I feel your pain . I am waiting on $352 from black Friday rebates. Two from RadioShack, two from Office Depot. I also have others not from Black Friday, One for CompUSA, one from Buy.com, and two toy/game manf ones, totaling about $90 . That's around $440 - a lot of money tied up in rebates. I may opt to pay alittle more next year just to not do rebates.
  6. Dena Neal. UC Hoodies - as in University of Cincinnati? If so, wow great deal. I'll stop at the one on Gilmore/ Winton tonight if that's the case. Please let me know. Thanks
  7. I agree with dswright. Cincinnati's new super walmart was definitly nothing to write home about. Two days after they opened and the veggies looked horrible, service was poor and still is after 8 months. The prices are just not that good. There is a Meijer, a Kroger and a Biggs all within a 2 mile radius of this Walmart and they are beating the pants off of Walmart in terms of pricing. I stick with Meijer and Kroger, better deals and service most of the time.
  8. Has anyone who ordered magazines starting recieving e-mails? I noticed this on one of the pages " As a gift to you, the Vintage Superstore pays for a large portion of the publisher's authorized price of your magazine order. In return, you agree to opt-in to the Vintage Superstore Preferred Customer E-Mail List (you may opt-out at any time through our unsubscribe link). The volume of e-mail sent by Vintage Superstore is very small and currently averages about 1 e-mail per month. All e-mail will be transmitted only by Best Deal Magazines and your e-mail address will not be revealed to anyone else." I was just wondering if anyone was able to actually "opt- out" of the emails successfully. I'd hate to have a barage of emails from them.
  9. Thanks, I purchased 2 of the oscalating Lasko towers reg $49 for $24 each.
  10. Thanks. Purchased leather hand bag - $120 for $41 with shipping. I couldn't use the code, but I think it was because it took off another 30% when I placed it in my bag- which was noted at the bottom of the item description in red. Noted- I think I found this with some of the reg items - not in clearance section. More bargains are listed as on sale in reg sections.
  11. Beca0884, WHen I looked at the link for the Pepsi & Frito Lay "Rebate" - it actaully says you get $15 worth of "coupons" for future purchases. Is there an actual rebate out there, anybody?
  12. Yes, have to agree that watching your kids open presnts is the best present. The look on DS face when he opened his Ipod Shuffle ($29.00 one) and his new laptop was best present of all. He wanted them but wasn't expecting either one. Without you guys don't think we would have been able to afford them both. Thanks! :) Personally, loved circle pendent DH gave me.
  13. Gee...I bought DS a laptop from OD with a $270 rebate. Wow, I hope a get it. Any tips for pressing OD to honor the rebate?
  14. Got my order from Buy.com using google check out. But google waited 5 days before placing the order with Buy.com. Not happy about that. Saved me $, but could honestly say that if they don't have a promo in future I won't do business with them.
