Depending on what kind of centerpieces you plan on using you might be able to work out something with another local bride. In my case I bought some hurricanes and votive cups at the local wholesale florist shop, so after I use them then I will sell them to another bride for a wedding in December, then hopefully she can sell them to another bride and so on. It isn't that we are all using the same centerpiece, but those glass pieces and round mirrors are pretty versatile etc.

For whatever reason my son really loves that "fish" guitar. Go figure. My daughter likes 2 better, I think because of the "shopping" factor.

Where do 6th grade boys buy helmets at? I've checked all of the sports stores around here and I just can't come up with anything. I know there has to be something out there. Especially since it's football season gearing up for Christmas. It doesn't have to be for real use but don't they sell "costumes" like this for boys?

My daughter wants to be an Ohio State Football Player for Halloween. We have the jersey and I think I can find pants to make due but I'm having trouble finding a decent price on a full size Ohio State helmet. The best I've found is $70.00. - Which is way too much for a Halloween costume. If I could find a plain silver or gray one I could probably paint the stripes on it, but all I've been able to come up with is white. Does anyone have any advice on where I should look? I purchased the electric fireplace, it is still sitting in the box as I won't be moving until later this spring. I hope that I don't have the same problems, as I really love the deal I got and the idea of the fireplace.

Oh boy, GCO definitely has bugs! I ordered through Aero on Black Friday paying with GCO. Aero cancelled a sweatshirt from my order, so I emailed them through GCO and told them to cancel the whole order because I didn't want anything if I would lose the 10 off 30 and pay full price shipping on 1 item. Aero emails me back that they don't handle requests through GCO email so I have to go directly through Aero's website, which they didn't recieve my request in time to cancel the whole order so they shipped it. I received the one shirt, decided to keep it and then found out that GCO charged me for the full amount of the entire order. Needless to say - it has been a mess, I'm still waiting on my refund from early DECEMBER!

I agree that you should definitely bring it to their corporate's attention. If you get no where, the next option could be to turn to your local news station. Around here we have something called turn to 2. It's the next option after not getting your problem resolved with the corporation - I bet that would get their attention. Those sleeves could potentially be harmful to someone, they should be recalled in my opinion. I hope that your daughter heals quickly and I'm sorry that this happened to your family.

I am very happy with my gifts this year, and I was pleased with the satisfaction of those whom I bought for. I love watching the reactions of those perfectly thought out gifts. We were shopping at Lowes on Christmas Eve because we are moving into a bigger house this spring but need to do a lot of work to it first. My SO bought me a paint sprayer and had our daughter wrap it for Christmas morning. Lucky me, now I can paint 17.5 feet in 5 minutes!

Do you have a hobby lobby near you. I've had them frame several things for me, they do a really nice job and it's hard to beat their prices when you wait for the 1/2 off custom framing sale which seems to happen atleast once a month.
