JC Penney is having the 50% off sale this weekend. There is also a $10 of $50 purchase coupon in the ad.

On the site, did you see the one titled the Strip? Boy, they're right. Las Vegas has nothing on them!! I would not be able to decorate my house with as much enthusiasm as these people have shown. We do however visit the houses in our small town that do. Every year we have to drive by to see what was added.

Definitely mixed with colored lights. I would love to do a theme tree but for now it is only a dream, although I have started collecting ornaments for my theme tree, I've just been putting them on my mixed tree and then when I have enough I'll do a 2nd tree or my kids will be a little more grown up and won't care if the bulb they made when they were 6 is on the tree or not.:)

I don't have any definite plans yet...but I got a really great deal on Black Friday for my outfit so I'm ready!

I found one for a hotel in Milwaukee by visiting the chamber of commerce link. That link took me to the boat website that goes across the Lake from Mich. to Wis., the boat website had a code for a hotel discount. Long story short try a chamber website. Another good idea is to find one of those booklets that are free at the gas stations for the hotels. I can't think of the name of them. I don't have mine anymore but I believe that they also have a website where you can find "deals" on hotels.

Hot this year for my kids is the Nintendogs thing. But I've got that covered. Otherwise they both want laptops.....yeah right!

Wow, I'm sorry you had a bad experience. I hope the person who took your card will be caught and penalized. But I'm glad you got everything you went after for the most part.

Lowes was or is having the installation free after rebate for those. I would love to have one to match my stove so I could build an extra pantry where my regular microwave sits now.

I witnessed no injuries, although I did watch the CNN video, which I just can't imagine. However, I somehow caught a cold and to me that is injurous (word?) enough.

I have to say it was Kohl's. Even though I waited in line for 45 minutes to check out. It certainly didn't seem like that. The mall was horrible, I think that it housed the rudest people out that day. On my way home I stopped at another Kohl's to check out the rest of the sale. They had extended their early birds till 2:00! It was great!

For the record mine was at 6:32. Two minutes after he started the thread.

I usually spend about $150 per child but this year I splurged a bit and got them both the Nintendo DS (pink and teal). I think that these will make for nice road trips! But mostly I count presents. They are getting older and the stuff they want is so much more expensive.

I'm trying to stay away from ebay. LOL. Actually I need to stay out of the stores, do you remember that movie with Goldie Hawn...OVERBOARD...well that's me this year. I just can't help myself, I guess because I can this year which is so much different than my last 12 with kids!

My son's stocking this year will have a 4 pack of bubblegum, a yo-yo, a bottle of body spray, a giant hershey bar, a mini flashlight, and a pack of writing paper with a dog on it. My daughter's stocking will have a 4 pack of bubblegum, a squishy ball, a mini flashlight, a hershey chapstick, a giant hershey bar and a bottle of love's baby soft. I just hope it all fits! :)

I've just spent the last 3 hours wrapping. I have a few more to do, but I'm gonna quit for now because I can do those whenever.
