I've never done a BF - well atleast not that early in AM. I can't talk anyone in to going with me. Guess I'm gonna have to go it alone and see what happens.

Have you seen those remote control robots? Is that too young? Even though it's a remote control thingy - it's still a robot? Or am I reaching?

My 13 yo wants a cell phone. I think I'm gonna go with T-Mobile. He'll get the usual few clothes, maybe some slippers and/or a new robe. I can't handle buying anymore games or consoles - I think he's got enough. Otherwise I'm stuck also.

Specs on the laptop?

My Walmart has a brochure with the laptop in it, actually there are two different laptops. One of the has the same model number as the one in the BF ad, wouldn't that lead you to believe that it is something they will have plenty of and be carrying for awhile?

I didn't know that I was "sniping" either. I just wanted those Paul McCartney tickets and I got 'em. It was a fabulous show - well worth it!

A steal for sure, my daughter also loves those clothes. I can't spend that much on those clothes. Shop only with a coupon and not that often. I just can't she's growing like a weed..

I'm told that it depends on your local Walmart. The thing is that unless they post seperate hours for layaway it will be open. The rules for layaway are no clearance or flammable and a few others but nothing that covers special sales pricing, so legally I really don't understand how they couldn't let you put it in layaway or even do a price match in layaway if you get there during the right hours.

This week our Kroger's has them on sale for $.59, I'm gonna hold out - I suppose that they'll have a little better sale shortly.

I absolutely agree with this, would never have even considered a laptop this year.

Already scheduled vacation for Wed, Fri and then Monday to rest.

It's like waiting for Christmas morning.

Santa always uses new paper, paper that you wouldn't be able to find anywhere else in the house. My boys are old enough to know the truth about the spirit of Santa (I've still got a younger daughter yet ) but as far as I'm concerned Santa will always bring them gifts to my house because it isn't about the number of gifts or the size... it's the spirit of Christmas and the rewards of smiles that matters. Who cares who it came from, the joy of giving is the true spirit. (And quite honestly do you think with all of the commotion they will remember who gave them what?)

I'll ask for a little less snow than we had last year. Last year we got the 25" 2 days before Christmas. A nice covering would do it for me - just to make it a white Christmas...not a blizzard.

I am farther ahead this year than I ever have been. I've got stuff stuck up in cupboards and dressers and closets and in the garage. I know I'm gonna find something either left over from last year or find something for this year in January.

My daughter has to put out Cheese. Ever since that commercial a few years ago, she believes that's why she always feels so special on Christmas morning. Because she leaves Santa cheese (and cookies with milk.)

I believe the price is only good on display model. My store didn't have one either.

I plan on putting the laptop in layawy before BF, then I plan on getting a price adjustment done on BF during the blitz hours. Legally if the ad mentions the model number and it is the exact same as what I have in layaway I don't see how WalMart would have any legal ground to stand on not to honor the ad. (Different UPC code or not.) My local walmart already has the shelf sign out for the laptop regular price $688. I checked but there isn't any in stock right now, so my name is on the list to be called when they do come in stock. That's my plan anyway.
