OD is Office Depot :)
-
yep--i'm off :) I'm also off any day that I decide not to go in as long as I call in time for one of the other subs to come in.
-
you wouldn't even need to cancel it--they could price adjust the entire layaway as long as it was within the time frame

staples was great last year!!

I never got around to sending an email, but got coupons in the mail today with a very nice, apologetic letter :-) -
I go out Thanksgiving morning as we eat around 3-4 (when it's done, we eat) and then BF, and then usually Saturday to get the rest of the stuff that I missed LOL
-
Welcome!! And Brad and Ross have this great way to print out your shopping list by store too--it's AWESOME!!
-
last year it seemed a LOT slower--I used my debit card for everything and the wait time at Wal Mart timed out while trying to get it approved--that's why I'm using Cash this year!!
-
I live in the middle of nowhere and last year there was still Wal Mart stuff at 10 am at the little wal mart--but this year they closed that one and built another Supercenter, so between now and then I have to familiarize myself with it's layout as compared to mine. It's closer to Target, staples, kohl's and on the way to BB and Circuit City.

Most of the stores are together or on the way to the ones that are together, so it won't stop me from going--all at once shopping is conserving gas!!
-
Mine's 24/7 too--but they unwrap the pallets beginning at around 5:30 or so--the registers are closed till they open though, so you still have to wait.

My 16 YO son has never been disappointed with gifts from us, but my mother in law is on his list LOL She sends shirts that are the wrong size and stuff like that. He's a video game junkie and isn't into football at all and she sends him Cowboys gear LOL (I'm a Titans fan!!) Once she sent him a set of hot wheels (he was 13 or 14) She also can't remember his birthday for anything, but calls me on October 1st every year to remind me that hers is coming up. His is the 12th. She does better with my daughter, but she buys stuff for her that she's too old for but Tiffy doesn't complain. The grandchild who lives with her is 1 1/2 years younger than Tiff and she is always saying "but Savannah liked it"

online they have the bounce and go coupe thing for 40% off (makes it $29.97) so I'm going to order that for my niece and get something free for my nephew :-) He's only 10 months old, so I think the piano or something would be good--but he is a boy, so maybe the trucks with the handles? There is so much cute stuff out there for them!!
-
I used to love the bonus that came in November!! They quit doing the semiannual bonuses and only have annual bonuses now at my husband's office--and they come in March or so now (just in time for the big bosses to use them for their taxes LOL)
-
Last year staples went on at like 4 am so I got that ordered (slowly) before I went shopping so my daughter could go out with me (the only thing on the list for her on BF was from there)
-
I know--my brothers decided that years ago, but I like to get them a little something just so they have something to open--a CD or a cute fishing lure or just something :-) They don't buy me gifts, and I don't care, but it wouldn't be Christmas if I didn't have something for them!! I have super cheap cd's and stuff I bought last year after Christmas that I plan to give them this year.

I'm shooting for about $800 for my son, daughter, husband, 3 nieces, 1 nephew, 3 sets of parents, my 3 brothers and 2 sisters and some sort of "family" type gift for my 2 BIL's. I have a good start on the brothers and sisters (I have the Dave Matthews CD's from Amazon that were a penny each) and will probably just buy a game for the BIL's families. My family exchanges gifts completely, but my husband's family doesn't.
-
I like the Redneck Christmas CD :-) I love that CD!! Especially Grandma got Run over by a Reindeer!!
-
I have been going almost alone since we moved here 6 years ago. Last year my daughter went with me, but every other year, I was completely alone. Before moving here, my friend and I would go (I had a van, she had a neon) but we'd plan everything on Thanksgiving day.
-
Last year my favorite was from Staples--it was a palm m100 (I think) with an mp3 player for $139 shipped. Last year was disappointing for me--but both kids got laptops so there really wasn't much shopping or looking for me.
-
I never want to see another white/icy christmas again!! It makes driving to my mother's house impossible and wrecks my perfectly good car.
-
not really--if the price is right, I'm buying it now--for instance Alloy has some cute belts for 99cents that will go in my daughter's gift boxes for her friends really well :-)
-
I bought one of the FAR prepaid phones and paid in the cell phone area for all of the stuff last year at BB--this year, even if i just buy a charger or face plate, I'm doing the same thing!!
-
I'll either use my fanny pack or my jacket pockets and I think I'll use cash this year--last year the CC machines were SOOOOO slow that I felt I was wasting time!!!
