I have always let my girls have their stocking Christmas Eve....I believe they look forward to those then their actual gifts the next morning...lol.....My oldest daughter is recently married and she is still going to come over that night and get hers....I need to add her husband a stocking now .

Do they do Black Friday? For some reason I keep thinking that I have seen something about them doing a sale so I was wondering if anyone knew if they did or not. Thanks!!

I put my stuff up day after Thanksgiving and I take it all down either Christmas night or the next morning... I do not like my tree up without gifts under it.

We do my side of the family at noon on Christmas Eve. My girls get their stockings Christmas eve night. We open here at the house Christmas morning and then go to inlaws and eat at noon and then pass out the massive amount of gifts after the kitchen is cleaned up. Come home after a few hrs of gabbing and then back to inlaws to eat left overs...lol

we hit Belks last yr and that was the worst mistake. The boots had the whole store in a jam and they had there items in the 2 separate stores( mens Belks) I haven't looked at the ad but last yr they had the straightners on sale so I had to have 2 for my girls....junk.....they do not get hot enough.

just like most of you, I buy and he see it when they open them up......I do have the girls pick out their clothes since they are so picky but they can not have them til Christmas

I love doing stockings. I hang 5 but only 4 get anything in ...mine is left empty....lol.....sorry but I am not filling my own stocking...lol.....and I do my mom one here. They get their stockings Christmas eve. I do a lot of what you all do and I put in a cd or dvd or games.

my dd is really wanting anIpod touch.....so I thought if I could find a good deal maybe she might find one in her easter basket.....I have looked but not coming up with much...most over $200 and I dont want to put that much in one for 9yr old.....so can you all help me find something...Thanks

Thank you for the NYC weather report....I am going to be there all day Sat....traveling from KY for a day with the Relay for Life and said I wont go if the weather is bad...lol...so I am sooo excited that it wont be a blizzard that weekend...lol.

thank you for this post....my dd is needing a new one and I want to get her one for Christmas...hers is pulling her hair now...it gets stuck in the side of the plates some how so I am most definately getting her one...I think I like the wet to dry one since she hates to blow dry her hair....what kind of spray do you all use on your hair before you start straightning ?
