  1. One piece of furniture and no grills to/for what?
  2. I do leave my doors unlocked and my keys in the ignition at my house (otherwise I lose them) I live in the middle of nowhere and it's nice!!
  3. Fisher Price Bounce N Go Coupe This is the car thing that I got her. I thought it was really cute--plus amazon had it listed as a little tikes toy so I used it to get a toy for free for my nephew.
  4. She's adorable!! My niece is 2, also. She loves Cinderella--the movie and all the accessories and "princess" toys. I also got her a Fisher Price ride on car thing and a Tea Set so far (it's the Princess one)
  5. Best Buy and circuit city!!
  6. My kids are 16 and 13 (She will be 14 in January) and I'm thinking she'll get a miniDV camcorder and a sewing machine and probably jewelry and he'll get probably the xbox 360 if my husband can wait that long to open it--if not he'll get games, CD's and maybe a new sax
  7. Thanks a lot!! I really appreciate it--I need the griddle LOL One minor question--what's Thumbs.db??

    mp3 players

My son is 16 and got the Creative Nomad last year for his birthday. It's gone everywhere with him--usually stuck in his cargo pocket of his pants or his jacket pocket without any trouble at all. It's a 30 GB hard drive and he hasn't even come close to filling it. He's a rough and tumble type of kid and it's still running well.
  9. $13.99 for slipper socks (seems high, but so far the only thing I've found) Slipper socks
  10. Exactly, but usually I start at WalMart because it's closer and there wouldn't be any backtracking. If they don't have anything I really really want, then it's Best Buy usually.
  11. Yes, I was first in line at Kohl's 2 years ago-They had just opened the store, and it was interesting. I've also been first at other "different" stores like Big Lots and Hobby Lobby.
  12. http://www.sportsauthority.com/family/index.jsp?categoryId=1339322&cp=716563.716714 This is a link to bedding--it's Sports Authority--they closed here though. They have all sorts of stuff--but I still can't find slippers!!
  13. yes i have--I've also forgotten what I bought last year right after Christmas and put up :-) I guess I'll be surprised in a few weeks too!!
  14. I think it's probably the one seater because that's the one in the ad. At that price you could get 2 and the kiddoes wouldn't fight over who gets to drive it, which was what my kids used to do. My kids are 2 years and 3 months apart. I finally had to break down and just get another one because my oldest is all boy and would "hog" the toy.
  15. I like the sewing machine!! My daughter wants the video camera and the mp3 player, but I want to see what other stores have before I decide that's the right one.
  16. Oh my gosh--he's just so cute!! I love seeing how much he's grown from that very first picture that you used :-)
  17. I love that!! That's a really cool idea! My FIL gives either gift cards or cash to the kids for Christmas and he usually puts it in something--last year it was a pillow each, the year before, it was a blanket--the year before that, he taped it to the top of a chinese checkers game :-)
  18. Oh Nate!! He's getting so big!! How much does he weigh now??
  19. I don't mind taking them to the store to spend them a bit--it's easier than standing in the return line or being stuck with something that no one wants. I'm shopping anyway and this way it's their money they are spending instead of mine so it works out cheaper for me in the long run too!!
  20. You are hilarious Brad!! As my kids used to say "Psyche" or sike as they spelled it then.
  21. I was there today too LOL The sleep pants were $12.83 and the knit hats (like winter toboggan hats) were $4.83. I didn't see any sheets or slippers either
  22. My kids love getting GC's. I wish my MIL would give them GC's!!! It would save a lot of the return hassle and the OMG factor LOL
  23. I'll got to WalMart at least once this weekend and I'll scope it out and see what they have and how much at mine :-) Anything to help a fellow Titans fan!! I know we have the hats, shirts, TShirts, and Jackets at Wal Mart and Sam's, but I haven't looked for the sheets or the pajamas.
  24. My husband doesn't shop at all except occasionally Best Buy or EB Games and then he doesn't really shop, but more or less goes in, picks up what he's already decided he must have, and then leaves the store. That's NOT shopping!! Anyway--he and the kids (13 and 16) are usually still asleep when I get back. Last year, my 13 year old went with me and we had fun. She is a shopper.
  25. My Walgreens is packed with people trying to get the cheap gift wrap. I'm going to say Staples because they were well organized and even when they opened last year they weren't too crowded, but this year might be different. Last year, they'd only been opened for a month or so before BF.
