Yes I have--but it was when my husband was moving from Ft. McClellan to Ft. Bragg and we though his unit was deploying 2 weeks after he got there for Desert Storm. His unit ended up deploying 6 days after he reported. We exchanged presents on Thanksgiving day and on the day after, he flew to Bragg. He was in Kuwait by by the first week of December. Circumstances made it happen that way, but we haven't since then.

I put in Fruit and candy and Nuts and then some smaller stuff like perfume and jewelry for my daughter (Stuff that would be lost under the tree) and a game or watch or something for my son. He's 16, she's 13. 2 years ago, I put electric razors in both stockings. My son "lost" his and only just found it in his closet a few weeks ago. It had never been opened.

I have a pretty wreath for each outside door and I put green garland around the bannister and poles on the front porch and bows on the poles.

I'd decide after finals when life is less hectic. If you still don't feel like decorating, then don't, but now your life really is too stressful to add something else to it. Don't worry about it. It's not even Thanksgiving yet and maybe a little closer to Christmas (and after finals) you'll feel better about the holidays.

Of course--there's always LOTS!!

I love The Christmas Shoes. It's so sweet and sad. My daughter and I read it every year. It really emphasizes the true meaning of giving.

Usually lasagna. I've done that for years. I've recently converted my mother. She makes lasagna for Christmas now too. It leaves a lot more time for socializing and watching the kids play with their presents.

KEWL!! Thank you so very very much!! I have finally decided what my son's getting for Christmas!! I'm going to get him the Tungsten and just use the free MP3 player as a gift for someone later in the year. I got the same deal last year but with the zire31 and a smaller mp3 player online for my daughter. I've decided my daughter will get a mini DV camera. This will be an easy Christmas!!

Last year, I think it was about 4 am or so central time. I just kept refreshing the page for the palm with the mp3 player until the BF friday price popped up and then ordered it I don't remember the exact time, but since I woke at 3 that's a pretty good/close estimate.

Last year Staples went live online relatively early and I ordered everything I needed from there without any fuss--it was slow, but it worked. I then went to Wal Mart and then to the Staples store because I forgot to pick up the blank DVD's when I made my order. I loved the store. It was well organized and not busy at all.

This year all of my kids gifts will either be in red or green--without tags so they don't know who's getting which color!! My daughter guessed almost every gift last year before christmas so this year, she'll have to guess which color is hers first!!

I'd go with the second chair because if you have to leave it you wouldn't lose much. They are pretty comfy too. I would prefer the first chair for everything else though, but for speed's sake on BF, the second is better.

I called them and they kept saying It wasn't in stock which was why it was cancelled--I tried to explain to the jerk that it wasn't in stock because it was a preorder and she said "if you're going to argue with me, i'm hanging up" and the witch freaking hung up on me. I will never order anything from them again and I'm filing a complaint with the BBB. planetfeedback is up again too!!

I talk to people--I also talk to the people in the register line when I'm checking out--Heck I talk to people now and it's not BF-I always talk LOL

I let them write down whatever they want and then I pick what they get--usually nothing on the list but they still have fun LOL

They looked like the regular ones--but I just noticed them, my daughter is too old for them.

Wal mart had them for $10 today.

I got the Norelco men's shave (6863 XL) for $34.98 today--that's only 50% off, but I was afraid they would sell out before it was marked down more :-) I also had a really nice cashier who marked my messenger bag that scanned at $0.00 on the scanners let me have it for $3. It was the Trans messenger bag.

nope, I did find the Norelco 6863 XL for $34.98 on clearance at Target today though.
